Baguio City, 2010
"Promise, dad."
After a long walk in Burnham park, they headed to PMA Baguio to visit the PMA museum, as the child had requested.
"Are you a porener?" natatawang biro ng batang lalaki, "do you understand me? Can you speak tagalog ba?" patuloy na pangungulit nito pero napansin niyang hindi pa rin tumatahan sa pag-iyak ang batang babae.
He let out a heavy sigh and reached out to the girl's hand, "Wag ka na umiyak.."
"Wag ka na umiyak.. please."
"KUYAAAAA!!!"
I awoke from a deep slumber, and as I opened my eyes, I let out a desperate cry, "Kuya!" It was then that I realized I was just dreaming. My tears continue to pour out as I looked at the clock, its exact time being 2:48 in the morning on August 2015.
"Eurie!? Eurie!" a knocked from my door, no, they're already banging it.
Kinuha na nila ang susi para mabuksan ang pinto ko, and there, they saw me crying.
"What happened?" asked Leigh and Migs in chorus.
"I was just... having a bad dreams." I expelled a deep sigh.
I just nodded.
I glance at the clock, and it's 2:54 AM now.
By the way, they are my cousins, and we're staying together in Leigh's house because his parents are not here. Well, the truth is I'm the only one staying at Leigh's house right now, as my parents are on a three-day trip to Baguio but will be back tomorrow. Nandito naman sila Migs at Iesu because they want to have sleepover at Leigh's place.
