WITHIN A BLINK OF AN EYE it was already October and two months since Anna came to Hogwarts and the castle felt like home more than The Aristides-House of Rowly has ever been. Needless to say Anna was having the time of her life and even the boring divination class or Potions which has become worse since the story of the Boggart assuming Snape's shape and that Neville had dressed him in his grandmother's clothes spread like wildfire around the castle causing Snape to be in a vindictive mood and bully them worse couldn't dampen her mood.

Her most favourite class was Defense against the dark arts and so was everyone else. It had become people's favourite in no time thanks to Professor Lupin. Only Draco Malfoy and his cult had anything bad to say.

"Look at the state of his robes" Malfoy would say in a loud whisper as Professor Lupin passed. "He dresses like our old house-elf"

"That bad Malfoy?" Anna would retort back every time he insult Lupin. "Thought you'd keep your elf in a better state or did daddy ran out of money?" That would keep him shut.

But who cared? All of Lupin's classes were interesting. After Boggarts they moved to Red Capes and from them to Kappas. Although Care of magical creatures had become very dull to Harry, Ron and Hermione as Hagrid seemed to have lost his confidence. They were now spending lesson after lesson learning how to look after Flobberworms which had to be some of the most boring creatures in existence. Anna was an exception however.

The trio during the time they had spent with her had found out she had a remarkably furious affection for animals no matter what they were.

"Why would anyone bother looking after them?" said Ron, after yet another hour of poking shredded lettuce down the Flobberworms' slimy throat.

"Don't say that Ron" Anna said delicately. "They're not very pleasant to look at-but there has to be a reason to raise them."

The trio would only give her an unimpressed look. However ugly or disgusting a creature maybe Anna always had a nice thing to say.
