THE HOGWARTS EXPRESS made it's way out of the King Cross Station as the sky poured rain lightly.
It had been only moments since the train started moving explaining the ruckus going on in the corridor. The multitude of students darted around in a noisy manner, their yells of delight on finding their friends and murmurs could be heard.
Such things, however, did not bother the redheaded girl who sat alone in one of the compartments. Some had even glanced into her carriage but thought against sharing the compartment with a stranger.
Her keen eyes were too busy watching the droplets of rain trickle down the window. The book in her hands lay forgotten. There were things more important than reading.
So this was how the world looked like.
Her heart hammered loudly inside her chest as she fidgeted with her fingers unable to control the excitement and giddiness she felt. This was it. She was nearing Hogwarts every passing second-
Suddenly the compartment door slid open and came in a boy who looked an awful lot like her. He stopped dead on his tracks as he met eyes with the girl. Her lazy posture grew stiff and suddenly the place felt suffocating.
She decided to play it cool and raised an eye brow "Well how can I help you?" She asked politely.
Even a blind could tell they didn't meet for the first time.
He stood as if debating inside his head but then a moment later he rolled his eyes and left without a response.
A few moments later the compartment door slid open again and in came another redhead girl with a scared looking, round faced boy behind her petting a toad. The redhead looked confident.
"Do you mind sharing this compartment? Everywhere is full" She asked politely.
The girl shook her head and smiled "Not at all, I'd like a company."
