Ever heard the sound of man begging you to spare him?
How about watching the life drain from their god given body?
The sight alone is traumatic enough but Vincent's everlasting spike of untrained fury had been unleashed upon the corpse, completely stomping and mutilating the body with his bare hands out of nothing but a blind rage, erasing any evidence of who the porcupine was before he came in contact with him

Vincent sat on the steps of his victims house, tired eyes hold an emotionless expression as he hunched over a bit and pondered on what he was to do next since it was inevitable that he'd pay a visit to Lenard today...he was playing the scene of the meeting in his head over and over and nine out of ten times he saw himself doing something crazy...the majority of what kept him feeling like he'd behave is if Denzel was watching him. The thought of Denzel seeing him snap like that scared him enough that if he kept Denzel around then he'd be able to compose himself.

His little brother, at the end of the day all he cared about was him and he figured he'd allow the other two to tag along but one thing is for certain-their time in the small town, Venzor, is just about over.

Chapter 7:
Misguided

Mikah was currently trying on different outfits in the dressing rooms with Denzel sitting on the stool, watching his partner struggle to find something that suited him well.
"You think this Vest looks good, Denz?"
The feline asked as he looked at himself in the dirty mirror

The chipmunk nods, he had already picked out some grey'ish blue jeans and a black bandanna for himself.
"With the white shirt you picked out, that actually fits you nicely"
Mikah's eyes softened when he peeped the other through the mirror, sitting there just looking up at the feline from behind. The feeling of being watched this intently gave Mikah a shiver down his spine, it felt good when someone complimented him instead of putting him down. He had already got himself a pair of jeans, the same as Denzel's, but he wanted to take his time with his tops. Denzel liked the shirt he already wore and wasn't much of a "Vest Guy" or so he says. Mikah on the other hand was tired of looking like a peasant and found that he looked pretty good in a hazel brown Vest- looking to the chipmunk as he finished fitting himself, earning an enticing hum from the young Smith
"You look amazing Mikah"

"Thanks"
Denzel stands up placing their clothes where he sat
"just one more thing"
Without thinking, Denzel takes hold of Mikah's hand and walks him over to where they hung up the bandannas.

Denzel grabs a maroon colored one then fixed and folded it properly before bringing it around Mikah's neck and tying it up, loosely, around him
"There...."
The feline couldn't see how it looked on him but he trusted the other that it fitted him well.

The two make their way to the front desk to speak to the tailor, easing the bearded owl's mind after they were asked if they found everything okay. Denzel runs his hand through his hair-taking off the rancher hat he wore briefly but then figured they had enough money to get better hats.
"Hey, partner, hand me that gambler hat- the one with three points in the front"
The tailor looked at it- pointing to it to get confirmation then grabbing it once he did and then turned to Mikah as he handed it to Denzel
"Would you be getting one too?"

The feline had already been looking and spotted a black rancher hat, clean with a red ribbon wrapped around it with black buttons sewed around it to keep the ribbon in place. The tailor grabs it and hands it to Mikah then asked the two if that would be all for today, handing them a paper bag to help them hold their old clothes.
