Bree's POV:

This hot searing pain flows through my body as he drags the sharp blade across my stomach. I can feel the red sticky substance running along my skin. My shoulders are pulled at a painfully awkward angle, the heavy steel chains holding them up high behind my head, my shackled wrists pointing towards the ceiling. The sweat keeps dripping into my eyes, making them sting and blurring my vision. I start to fade in and out of consciousness after Tib throws a full bucket of Wolfsbane at me, making me howl in agony. "Who...are...you?" I pant, spitting blood at him as soon as he gets close enough. He growls angrily in response, wiping his cheek with the back of his hand. "Why I'm your worst nightmare who's going to make you regret that. Now tell me, how can we hurt Reece's Daughter? What's her weakness?"

"Go...fuck yourself" I spit with hatred, struggling to catch my breath as the wolfsbane sets my entire body on fire. He whistles and in comes another figure, a wolf, it's easy to tell by their scent but at this point I'm blinded by the blood in my eyes so I can't see who it is. "Well well well, nice to see you again Bree. Good job boys" the wolf laughs menacingly. Wait a minute, I recognize that voice... "Fionn?!?" "Hey mate, let's have a little fun, shall we..." he chuckles darkly.

Back at The Cabin...

The Day Before;

Dominiqué's POV:

Once we are all awake, we take our seats on and around the sofa, watching our Alpha and the witch in silence. We are all angry, Fionn had been right, the delicious food had been poisoned and it was unclear if our Alpha had been previously aware of this plan, or what was even the purpose of said plan. I am the first to break the silence, with my arms folded, feeling betrayed. "Alpha, did you know? That she was going to poison us?!" She looks up from what I assume is some sort of magical witchy spell book at the sound of my voice. "First of all Dominiqué..." she starts.

"It was a potion, not a poison, if it had been, we would all be in comas or dead" she continues. "I don't have a big enough graveyard for all of yere bodies!" Erin cuts in, looking utterly flabbergasted. Graveyard? What? Who is this witch? Okay I need to make a mental note to not get on her bad side or I might be turned into a frog or buried alive or something. I shudder at the gruesome idea. "Exactly. What she said. And to answer your question, yes, I did know, but Erin here has helped my mother more than I even understand, therefore I trust her, and you can either be mad at me or you can get over yourself and let Erin explain how this potion is going to work" I feel intensely conflicted. "What potion?" I ask her.

Alpha Brown holds eye contact with me until I finally cave, glancing away. "Right you were about to explain that..." I murmur, my voice trailing off. Our Alpha clears her throat to grab our attention. We then notice a tiny glass vile in her right hand with some sort of clear liquid inside. She holds it up to her eye level and examines it while we all wait for her to speak again. "This potion is very special. It has unique specific abilities. Erin and I created a link before we all arrived here at her cabin. We made our introductions of course, and then decided to knock you guys out by dosing your bowls with this" she holds up a syringe with a purple substance in it before she continues.

"We simply needed blood from each of you to create this clear solution. This will connect us as a pack on a deeper level and give me the power to identify each of you if any of you are also captured. Witches like Erin, are great assets and allies to have, but some witches support a dark side of magic and can easily cast a spell on you to disguise or hide you from me if you were captured and we came looking for you."

"Whenever I'm strong enough and/or have taken my throne as Queen, I will be able to track all of those whom I inject with this serum, identifying them all individually. I understand that sounds scary, but I will not allow for another one of you to be hurt or taken from me against your will like Bree. I am simply doing this to protect you all and our future pack members, please understand...I meant you no harm at all, you guys are my family. Taking this serum is voluntary but it's going to be a requirement if you want my loyalty and protection, and to continue being a member of this pack. Can you guys forgive me for deceiving you?" she asks.

This is a LOT to take in all at once, but I know her intentions are genuine, and I can tell that she's telling us the truth. I know we can trust her, as she is literally the reason we are all finally safe again, so I stand up and step forward, rolling up my left sleeve, ready to be prodded. "Hit me up Doc" I smile as she gives me a slight grin, pleased, and takes an empty syringe from Erin, fills it from the bottle, and injects me with the clear potion made from our blood.
