Dating Charlie was your biggest-kept secret. Your traditional pure-blooded family was adamant that you marry a suitable man to continue the family legacy, and you were sure that a blood-traitor Weasley dragon keeper wasn't what they had in mind. It didn't help that you were younger than him by several years, another thing your parents (and his as well) would've disapproved of.

When you and Charlie first began seeing each other, it was casual. Very casual, if you know what I'm saying. However, it didn't take long for you to find yourself thinking about him even when he wasn't around, and longing to just talk to him about your day. You missed his scent, his crooked smile, the flaming red hair. You resolved to tell him about your feelings the next time you saw him, but he beat you to the punch on that one (A/N: perhaps we'll see more of this storyline soon?...)

Doing long distance with Charlie was the hardest thing you've ever had to do. That's another part of the reason why you kept your relationship a secret for so long; you were hardly together enough to find time to go meet each other's families. Sure, you sent letters back and forth and tried to find time to visit whenever you could, but you both had very busy schedules which made it difficult. You spent many a lonely night curled up in a hand-knit Weasley sweater, crying yourself to sleep missing him.

In your eyes, Charlie only had one flaw: his snoring. As much as you loved the times when you could be together, sleeping cuddled up next to him, he never failed to wake you with his loud snores. One night, you were tossing and turning for the better part of an hour, trying to block out the sound, and you found yourself staring at his bare back, tracing the pattern of all the old scars and burns with your finger.

By the time wedding planning rolled around, you were surprised at how eager Charlie was to help. You had always kind of assumed you would do all the planning for the wedding to whoever you'd marry, but it was a pleasant change of pace to have Charlie's opinion and input on things. You still wouldn't let him make any of the big decisions -- you obviously had a vision that had to be just right -- but he was excited to help in any way you'd let him, and your wedding ended up being even more perfect than you'd imagined.

A/N: you guys... literally every time I write a Charlie imagine/chapter, I struggle so much because it makes me want to write a full book about it... I'm def not a Charlie girl by any means so idk where this is coming from, but I just have all these ideas for a book and a plot and characters that I just want to develop more than I can in a one shot...
