Dating Dean was almost exhausting because you never, ever didn't have a smile on your face. He was quieter than his friends, but by no means around you. You loved everything about him; his height, his gleaming smile, the way he would sneak up behind you and grab you around the waist and twirl you around as a greeting.

Dean loved Harry and all his friends, he really did, but that didn't stop him from getting annoyed with them occasionally. And when he did, he always came to you to vent. The two of you would lay down in your bed, him between your legs with his head on your chest and his arms clasped around your waist, while you played with his hair and talked about his day. Eventually, he would fall asleep like this, and his soft breathing would lull you to sleep as well.

PDA was never off-limits to the two of you. In fact, it was kind of a trademark of your relationship. If you had a Galleon for every time someone told you two to "get a room" over Sunday morning breakfast in the Great Hall, you'd be able to afford the nicest room available.

A lot of your time together was spent doing homework, studying, and practicing spells and potions. Both of you were extremely bright, and hardworking at that. One thing Dean loved about you was how driven you were in school, because it matched his own energy and drive to do well. Plus, a little bit of friendly competition never hurt anybody...

Both you and Dean came from small families, and you agreed you wanted to have as many children as possible so your children could have siblings to play with as they grew up. You knew early on that Dean was the one for you, and he saw no sense in waiting to call you his wife, what with the war and all. Halfway through what would've been your seventh year at Hogwarts (if either of you had returned) you got married in a small, intimate ceremony at your parents' house, forgetting all about Voldemort and the war for a few blissful days as you said "I do" to the man you'd loved since second year.

When Dean first offered to cook dinner for the two of you, you were shocked, but pleasantly surprised. That was your first exposure to Dean's hidden talent; cooking. You alternated who would make dinners at the end of the day when both of you were tired and just wanted to collapse into bed, but secretly you always looked forward to his nights because he was a phenomenal cook and every new dish he attempted turned out perfectly, unlike you, who took a few tries to get a new recipe just right.
