Dating Sirius was like a game. You knew how popular he was with the rest of the girls in your year (and other years as well) and it took a lot to convince you that he was ready to settle down and be in a relationship with you and only you. However, this didn't stop his flirty nature from taking the reins sometimes and getting him into some trouble. Was it the healthiest relationship? Maybe not, but he made sure you knew how much you truly meant to him.

Your relationship was surprisingly private; no PDA, no big romantic gestures, nothing like that. Neither of you were the romantic type, but you made it work just the same as everyone else did, in your own little ways.

The two of you didn't get a lot of support from... well, from anyone, really. Sirius's friends were skeptical that he was really, truly settling down, his parents were rather difficult, to say the least, and your friends shared the Marauders' concerns about Sirius's habits. Once you graduated school and stayed together, though, people began to realize that you really were in it for the long haul, and gradually you started to feel more supported and accepted in your relationship.

Sirius is an ass guy, no doubt about it. Not a single day went by in your relationship that he wasn't giving you a squeeze or a light smack in passing, followed by a cheeky smirk when you scolded him for his behavior. Secretly, you had to admit you kind of liked it though...

One way to guarantee you could sneak a kiss from him not in the privacy of one of your rooms was by cheering him on at his Quidditch matches. He loved how invested in the game you would get, even though after the fact you would always complain about how boring you found the matches to be. When Gryffindor won the Quidditch Cup, he flew right up to you in the stands and nearly fell off his broom to lean over and give you a passionate celebration kiss before joining his teammates down on the pitch in celebration.
