Chapter 4

Misty

"I still cant believe you got all these things for the baby and nothing for me."

Taking a deep breath ain't exhaled. Maggie has been complaining for the last ten minutes about the things I brought back and it was becoming over bearing now.

"Is there anywhere in this mall I can get a glass of wine?" I huffed.

"Why love?" Sarah laughed.

"Because I'm trying my best not to punch this one in the mouth." I glared at Maggie.

"Ooouu! Cali made someone grow a pair is see." She looked at me.

"No, you're getting on my nerves. You're acting really childish right now to be honest Maggie."

"She's right." Sarah agreed. "Like we been here and you just whining and bitching about what the baby got."

"Fine. I won't say anything then." She got quiet.

"Its not that Maggie, just calm down on the jealousy."

Being the petty person she is, she didn't even respond.

"Well fine. Be that way. Misty at least we'll be having a peaceful afternoon."

"Exactly."

As much as we loved her, we knew how to deal with her. Eventually she would talk, but we weren't about to beg her.

"Is there anything else we need?" Sarah asked me.

"Let me check my list and see."

Standing in the middle of the mall, I got out my phone and checked my notes. Seeing a mark by all, we were in fact finish.

"Nope. We got everything. Just food now." I smiled.

"Okay great because I'm hungry."

"Me too. Maggie what you want to eat?"

"Anything." She mumbled.

"Benihana?" I looked at Sarah.

"Oouu yes." She smiled.

"Come on you big baby!"

Locking arms with Maggie while she was still in her mood, we walked out of the mall and went to Sarah's car and got in.

"When do you start ABT Mist?"

"Not till July."

"So we got the rest of this month and May and June?"

"Yes. Why?" I laughed.

"You feeling to come back to the center."

"Of course. You know I would but I also have to meet with EDC."

"That's fine. Just let me know what's up."

"I definitely will." I nodded. "Maggie you ready for your baby shower in a two weeks?"

"I'm ready for this baby to come yea."

"What you need to do is relax." Sarah spoke. "Everyone been telling you this and yet you're not listening. You're on the home stretch so just do it and let the time go by."

"Y'all keep saying relax but y'all don't know how hard that is with a baby dancing on your bladder, putting pressure on your back and making you overly emotional."

"Uh uh! Don't blame that on her." I said instantly.

"She heightened it."

"Maggie. All of that is part of the process and its high time you accept it. Next time let Kevin strap up and you won't be in this situation." Sarah laughed.
