The king's impending arrival was stressing Jaehaerys out of her wits. She had found herself holed up in her room, or in the library. Robb had spent most of his time with her as well. He'd wanted to get to know her, and he showed her where the books on her house were.
"It says here that Viserys was born at Dragonstone." Robb pointed at a page in the book he was reading. Jaehaerys nodded and said, "Yes that's correct. He was only seven at the time I was born."
Robb kept reading and his eyes widened slightly when he saw that the Targaryen's were mostly inbred.
"Your father married his sister." Robb told her. Jaehaerys giggled and nodded.
"Either Daenerys or me was supposed to marry Viserys, but neither of us wanted that. He wanted an army more than he cared for us." She explained and Robb nodded.
"He won't get anything from us. My father only paid him." Robb told her. Jaehaerys smiled at that and looked on to the next book.
Fire and Blood were the words on the front of the book. She opened the book and coughed as dust came from it. She wiped away the years of it and read what her brother always told them.
"Fire cannot kill a dragon." She read aloud. Robb looked down at her in shock.
"What does that mean?" He asked. Jaehaerys chuckled and ran her hand over the flame of the candle.
"Jaehaerys!" Robb shouted, but when she held her hand up, there was no burn. His mouth was ajar and she laughed at his reaction.
Grey Wind woke up from his nap and nuzzled into Robb. Jaehaerys giggled and reached her hand out to the wolf and Grey Wind curled under her feet, laying there, protecting her.
"The king is almost here!" Bran burst into the library's doors and Robb stood up. He held out his hand for her to take and led her to the door. Her body was shaking with nerves and she kept repeating the phrase, "I am the blood of the dragon." Robb kissed her forehead and led her to his family. They were all there except for his mother and youngest sister.
Robb placed Jaehaerys between he and his father. He wrapped his huge black cloak around her small body and whispered assuring words in her ears.
"He will not touch you. Over my dead body." Robb assured her and she wrapped her arms around his torso. Lord Stark smiled down at the couple and knew he had made a good match for his son.
The first to arrive were the banner men on their horses. Arya had stupidly run in front of them all, with a helm on her head. Her father removed it and asked, "Hey, Hey, hey, hey. Where'd you get that?"
Jaehaerys and Robb chuckled and watched what she assumed was the prince ride in before the coach arrived. He was a young thing, no older than Sansa. The coach carrying the queen and her other children stilled and the King dismounted from his horse causing them all to kneel. Jaehaerys watched how he wasn't able to remove himself from the saddle on his own. She thought Robb had said he was strong and brave, this man looked like he enjoyed too many pies.
"Your grace." Ned said as they all stood up for the King. King Robert stared at his old friend and said, "You've got fat."
Lord Stark gave the king a 'what about you' look and they erupted in laughter. They embraced and then the king hugged Lady Stark.
"Cat!" He yelled and then ruffled Rickon's hair. She responded with, "Your grace." He walked up to Ned and asked, "Nine years. Why haven't I seen you? Where the hell have you been?" Ned gave him a confused look and gestured to Winterfell.
"Guarding the North for you, Your Grace. Winterfell is yours." He told him. Jaehaerys watched as the queen descended from the coach with her other blonde children. The queen was beautiful. More beautiful than what the king deserved.
"Where's the Imp?" Arya asked. Jaehaerys looked around for someone small and she didn't see anyone. Sansa rolled her eyes and glared at Arya, "Will you shut up?" She asked. Robert noticed the children and stopped in front of Robb and Jaehaerys.
"Who have we here? You must be Robb. And you are?" He asked Jaehaerys after shaking Robb's forearm. Jaehaerys stood taller and replied, "Jaehaerys Stark. Wife of Robb." King Robert eyed her and said, "you look like a bloody Targaryen. Ned, why do you have a Targaryen here?" Ned shook his head and Robb tightened his arm around his wife's waist.
"She's Robb's wife. Not a Targaryen." Lord Stark assured the king. Robert walked away to stand in front of Sansa. "My, you're a pretty one." He said and then bent down to Arya, "Your name is?"
"Arya." She replied. Jaehaerys smiled at her and then the king walked over to Bran,
"Ooh. Show us your muscles. You'll be a soldier." Bran flexed his arm muscles for the king making everyone chuckle.
One of the kings guard removed their helm and shook out his blonde hair. Jaehaerys had to admit he was handsome.
"That's Jaime Lannister. The queen's twin brother." Arya told them. Jaehaerys glared at him. Kingslayer, she thought and Robb kissed her cheek snapping her out of her glare.
"Would you please shut up." Sansa begged her sister in humiliation. The queen approached them and eyed Jaehaerys. She held out her hand to Lord Stark, and he bent down to kiss it.
"My queen." He said. Lady Stark curtsied and greeted the queen, "My queen." The queen smiled at them, but Jaehaerys could see right through her. She'd dealt with enough fake people to know what a fake smile really meant.
"Take me to your crypt. I want to pay my respects." The king requested of Lord Stark. Drako was hidden in the shadows watching, ready to strike if any of them laid a hand on Jaehaerys.
"We've been riding for a month, my love. Surely the dead can wait." The queen pleaded with her husband who ignored her and said
"Ned." Lord Stark gave the queen an apologetic look and followed the king.
"Where's the Imp?" Arya asked again. The queen walked over to Jaime in humiliation and ordered him, "Where is our brother? Go find the little beast."

Jaehaerys was seated beside Robb. She had felt very out of place. Robb and Theon were enjoying the feast, but Jaehaerys only wanted to go to her bed chamber. She sighed and leaned over to Robb.
"I think I'm going to retire to bed, my love." She kissed his cheek and he stood up. He eyed her carefully and nodded.
"If someone bothers you, come and find me." He placed a kiss on her forehead and allowed her to leave. She walked up the winding staircase that led to her and Robb's room. She wished he had come with her.
She heard something that sounded like footsteps behind her and she turned to look but was shoved into the wall harshly. Jaime Lannister stood in front of her and Jaehaerys started to scream until he placed a hand over her mouth.
"Don't scream. I'd hate to have to kill your husband." Jaime threatened and Jaehaerys felt tears well in her eyes. She closed her eyes bracing for her death when he was shoved off of her. Where Jaime's hands were around her neck would surely bruise, and Drako stood over Jaime.
"Come, Khaleesi." Drako led her to her chambers and locked the door behind them. Jaehaerys sank to her knees crying and Grey Wind whined and walked over to her nuzzling into her chest. She wrapped her arms around the wolf's neck and Drako stood by the door guarding her.
"Anha need Robb." She stated. Drako shook his head and stayed by the door. She sighed and walked over to the chest of dragon eggs. They were so beautiful. It took both of her hands to hold one. One was the color of Robb's eyes, with gold markings almost looking encrusted with jewels. The one next to it was green, like the grass of Essos. And the last was silver, like Arya's eyes. The dragon eggs almost seemed to calm her and she sat near them until she felt her eyes closing, and Drako carrying her to the bed. He placed the furs over her body and then walked back to the door until Robb came.

It was a few hours before Robb entered their room and he eyed Drako suspiciously. Jaehaerys wasn't asleep and she rushed out of the furs to run into Robb's arms. He held her as she sobbed and rubbed her back.
"What happened?" He asked. Drako walked over to the window and pointed outside at Jaime walking beside his brother. Robb felt his eyes full with fury and held his wife tighter.
"What did he do?!" Robb asked. Drako pointed to Jaehaerys neck and Robb cursed loudly at the bruises forming on her neck.
"I'll kill him." Robb started to storm out, but Drako stopped Robb pushing him back.
"No." He said. Drako left the room and Robb turned back around to Jaehaerys.
"He threatened to kill you if I screamed." Jaehaerys told Robb. His arms wrapped around her and led her to the bed. She cried into his chest and Robb kissed her head.
Jaehaerys looked up at him and kissed his lips with a passion stirring in her body. Robb held her head in his hand and pulled her closer. She pulled his shirt from his pants and he chuckled allowing her to take it off of him.
His hands undid the straps on her dress and the strings tying it together. It fell to her feet in front of him, and he leaned back to look at her body in awe.
"Are you sure?" He asked. They hadn't consummated their marriage yet, but he wanted to wait until she was ready.
"Yes." She breathed out. Robb laid her down on the bed and removed his pants kicking them to the side. His soft hands caressed her body running over her breasts, making the nipples harden. She moaned when he moved his hand toward her pulsing core and she moaned as his finger came in contact with it.
He kissed her neck feverishly and then swallowed her lips with his own. Jaehaerys pulled his body on top of her and she said, "please." Robb smiled and placed himself inside her. He allowed her to adjust and then thrust into her small body gently. Each time he thrusted made her moan louder, giving Robb incentive to go faster. When his seed filled her, and they lay breathing heavily, Jaehaerys leaned her head on his chest, playing with the chest hair he had.
"Jaime will not touch you. Not again." Robb promised and wrapped his arm around her body lovingly.
"I love you." She told him. Robb's eyes widened and he smiled. They'd known each other for three weeks, but in those three weeks, they spent every minute together.
"I love you, too." He placed a single peck on her lips and then closed his eyes tightening his hold on her. No one would hurt her again, he promised. No one.
