Jaehaerys had never felt what it was like to be loved by a man. Her brother never loved her, she had never met her father, and her sister was the only person she had remembered. Robb loved Jaehaerys with everything in his heart. He loved the way her long silver hair pooled on his chest like the moon had shed it's light on his chest. Her violet eyes held his heart and he'd gladly throw himself on his sword if she asked. She was his lady. And he was her man. The two were a very unlikely pair, one most of the north was not fond of, but Jaehaerys held her own.
Robb taught her the ways of using a sword, while Jon showed her how to fight with it.
When Robb found Jaime Lannister after the lion had put his hands around Jaehaerys' neck, Robb wanted to kill him. He wanted to torture him for even thinking of hurting the one good thing his life had brought him, but he didn't. Instead he only threatened him, knowing the queen would have his head if he laid a finger on the blonde. Robb wished they would leave. He wished his family was staying in Winterfell, where they belonged but his father and sisters were going south while his older brother was going to the wall.
Jaehaerys had asked for Robb to give a design to the black smith. She wanted to make something special for both of the girls. It would be a dragon egg necklace, both with the Stark colors on them. One of the gifts she'd received from Illyrio was a dragon glass dagger. She had given it to Robb to make the blacksmith melt it down and make what she wished. And he did.
Jaehaerys had given Sansa her gift in her chambers while she was packing, and Sansa loved it.
Now Jaehaerys was heading to Arya's room, to give her the dragon egg necklace. She opened the door slightly and let herself inside.
"Jaehaerys!" Arya wound her arms around the silver haired girl's neck and Jaehaerys had found herself placing a kiss on Arya's head.
"I have a gift for you." She whispered to Arya. Arya let her go and looked at her with hopeful eyes. Jaehaerys handed her the dragon egg necklace and she smiled at the colors of it.
"It's warm," Arya noted. Jaehaerys nodded and revealed her own dragon egg necklace.
"They are dragonglass. Any time you miss home, look at your necklace and remember Robb and I are here." She told Arya. Arya smiled and wrapped her arms around Jaehaerys once more before letting her go.
"Thank you," Arya said and Jaehaerys started to leave the room when Arya called her name. She turned around and the brunette girl smiled at her.
"I will miss you." Jaehaerys grinned and said, "I will miss you as well, trouble." Arya giggled and Jaehaerys left to find her husband. Robb had ordered for Drako and Grey Wind to follow her around every day, all day, after what happened with his brother Bran.
Jaehaerys found Robb outside saying goodbye to his brother. She walked over to them and smiled at the raven haired boy.
"Take care of my brother." Jon told her. Robb chuckled and Jaehaerys wrapped her arms around Jon's neck.
"Be safe, Jon." She whispered and Jon smiled and nodded before walking over to Robb. They watched as their family rode away from Winterfell, and Robb tightened his arms around her waist.
"You aren't going to leave me too, are you?" He teased and Jaehaerys giggled and tickled him so he'd release her.
"You'll never be rid of me." She promised and Robb held her to that.

A few days had passed since most of the family left Winterfell. Bran still had not woken up, and Lady Stark was on his chambers, day and night. She hadn't left the room in weeks and Robb led Jaehaerys to Bran's room to try and reason with his mother.
Maester luwin was already there when they arrived. Robb heard his mother about, "I don't care about appointments!" When Robb chimed in, "We will make the appointments first thing in the morning." Maester Luwin nodded and bowed to the both of them.
"Very good. My ladies, my lord." Lady Stark sighed when Jaehaerys massaged her shoulders. She'd been in that chair for weeks and Robb tensed as he opened the shutters of the room.
"When was the last time you left this room?" Robb asked his mother. She looked down at Bran and said, "I have to take care of him." Robb sighed and looked at Jaehaerys who was seated on the end of Bran's bed.
"He's not going to die, mother. Maester Luwin says the most dangerous time has passed." Robb tried to assure her. Jaehaerys knew he should leave her be. A mother will always protect her pups. She was a wolf after all.
"What if he's wrong? Bran needs me." Lady Stark asked.
"Rickon needs you. He's six. He doesn't know what's happening. He follows me around all day, clutching my leg, crying..." Robb stopped at the sounds of wolves howling. When he looked back to the bed, Jaehaerys widened her eyes and glanced to the library. Her dragon eggs we're in there.
"Close the windows! I can't stand it! Please make them stop!" Lady Stark begged. Jaehaerys left the room suddenly, fleeing the stairs and out the door faster than Robb was able to follow. The library was on fire and she was sure there was someone in it. A Dothraki guard by the looks of it.
Robb watched in horror as Jaehaerys ran inside the burning library. He screamed for her but Drako held him back. He felt himself fall to his knees and watch as his wife was engulfed in flames.
Jaehaerys noticed the Dothraki was speaking to her, but over the howling and the flames cackling, she couldn't hear him. She wept as she watched him burn to death in front of her. Jaehaerys tried to pull him from the flames but he was too heavy and wouldn't move. Her sobs filled the air and she noticed her eggs were hatching. She crawled over to them and held them in her arms while they hatched, and soon three dragons were curled into her naked body.
She stood up shakily and walked closer to the entrance of where the library once stood. Theon stood next to Robb holding him while he sobbed until Jaehaerys emerged from the flames.
"Robb." Theon said, but he didn't look up. Theon hit him and said his name again, but after the third time, Theon pushed his head up to see Jaehaerys walking towards her husband with three dragons in her arms. People around her bowed down and kneeled for her, but what she truly wanted was Robb.
"Robb." She said almost like a whisper, and it was enough for Robb to wound his arms around her waist and hold her in his arms.
"Don't ever do that again. Please." He begged and she shushed him. The dragons snuggled into hers and Robb's chests and he looked down with teary eyes to see the blue dragon nudge him.
"Dragons?" He asked. She nodded and he laughed, a cackle that echoed through the air and then he smiled down at the three creatures and his wife.
Robb hadn't noticed that she was naked until then and he wrapped the cloak he had around her body away from Theon and other helpless eyes.
