AFTER A FEW NIGHTS in the apartment while sharing with sage, daniel began to notice how she would wake up at random points at night and turn on her led lights before watching a video quietly in her room. tonight was another one of those nights, daniel actually coming into the room to see the brunette sitting on her bed with her macbook in her lap, fingers tapping against the keys as she was editing a youtube video with airpods in.
once she actually had taken notice of the boy there, she took out her airpods and gave him a questioning gaze as she moved her laptop to the side.
"what're you doing up?"
"you're always up around this time and i just wanted to check on you. why don't you go to bed earlier?"
"can't sleep with things running around in my mind continuously. i'm sorry for keeping you up-"
"oh no, it's all good. can i actually watch you edit your video? i wanna see your process."
"daniel, it's two in the morning. go to sleep- surely you can watch me do this another time."
"well i'm going to stay so don't mind me."
"i really should put a lock on my door."
"nope. now let me watch."
