DANIEL BEGAN TO ACT weirdly around the girl for the next couple of days, confusion and hurt evident as he wandered around their apartment- searching for her in that very moment.

she was out with her sister today, needing some girl time for whatever reason but at least he could think without her asking; "why aren't you talking to me?"

but she wasn't wrong for asking that- they were roommates turned lovers- nothing could change the fact that she would be around majority of the time.

daniel simply was exhausted by all the late nights he's spent working on songs and trying to create new beats and just developing whatever came to mind- but nothing seemed to click as of late and he felt guilty he would be letting the band down.

which he wasn't, seeing as they were currently in the midst of creating one but daniel always wanted to have more songs coming out more than they have as of late due to their long break- practically silence towards their fans.

"daniel, i brought pizza!" his girlfriend announced about an hour later, finding him in his bedroom strumming away on his guitar peacefully.

"i never have heard you play before." she told him quietly, sitting on his bed as he continued to play, ignoring her.

that's when it came to him- why he was so unmotivated and why he was so down constantly- it was because of the way he was treating his girlfriend.

"i'm so sorry for blatantly ignoring you as of late. i was in a funk and i realized that if i'm unhappy with you then i'm not motivated to do anything."

"daniel, it's okay. wanna go eat some pizza?"

"in a bit. do you wanna listen to a song that i started yesterday?"

she agreed almost instantly, excited to hear her boyfriend singing. she's heard his echo of singing in the shower, but nothing more except what she found on youtube and from their music that she started listening to her he doesn't really know.

he began to play different chords, getting into the song much more as he sang beautifully.

it warmed her heart hearing his voice, the love within it as she knew this was why he loved doing what he does for a living, and she was glad she got to witness him showcase his talents to the world.

"she walked in like a dream, like a warning as if i didn't know what i was doing. i never thought i'd say it but i love you too. i love everything from your lips to your hips, cuddled up to me even in the middle of the night. you make me a better man, yeah. a better man than what i would've been without you. i couldn't do what i do without you."

"daniel that was beautiful." she gushed, watching the boy remove the guitar from his lap as he motioned her to sit with him.

daniel was sitting on the rolley chair while sage had been seated on his bed, now her moving to sit on his lap.

"you like it?" he asked, the girl nodding as she feared she would start crying if she heard more of it.

"if you wanted to make me emotional you got it. you're so talented, bub- and i love it."

"do you think the boys would wanna go for it?"

"you act as if i know what they think."

"i just realized you really only spend time with zach and i."

"not wrong there."

"how about you come spend time with me in the studio tomorrow?"

"i don't want to distract you guys- last time you guys ended early when i was there."

"that's because we did all we needed to do that day. it'll be fun, please?"

"alright, fine. but if. the boys continue to get off topic and talk to me i will leave."

"just don't leave without telling me, okay?"
