"I'LL CATCH YOU LATER babe!" sage grinned, shutting the door behind her boyfriend who was leaving to spend time with the boys.

when daniel had arrived at the why don't we home, he felt exhausted and drained. the weight on his shoulders continuously got worse the second he saw her, knowing he couldn't love her.

"want a drink?" jonah offered the younger boy who nodded, taking the glass of water and tipping it to his mouth, guzzling the liquid back.

daniel spent majority of his day playing several video games, having fun until he realized that he would have to go back home to the girl who was going to be heartbroken the second he told her how he felt for her.

"hey man, you good?" zach asked, walking up to his best friend who simply shrugged, wishing he didn't have to admit every bad thing about his relationship to a guy who's dating sage's sister along with being one of sage's closest friends.

"just things are getting complicated with sage, that's all."

"you two always fix things- how come this feels different to me?"

"i don't love her."

"really? you're telling me that the second you find the perfect girl, you don't love her back?"

"yup."

"that's messed the fuck up."
