"I DON'T KNOW WHAT to say if he ever told me about him having to go on tour, kay. i've never gone through that and i've only seen what you've gone through without zach and i don't want to be hurting while they're away."
daniel was outside her bedroom door, listening to the conversation- not wanting to disturb the girl but also wanted to see if his girlfriend wanted to go on a quick lunch date.
"listen, you two seem happy right now- don't worry about tour until it comes around. it's nothing you two can't handle, i'm sure of it."
"thanks kay, i gotta go since i heard daniel come in- i'll see you tomorrow, right?"
"yes of course, see you sis."
upon walking up to her door and opening it, she couldn't find the boy anywhere.
wandering further she found him on the couch, curled into a corner with his head in his hands.
"stressful day, bubs?" she asked softly, sitting down next to the boy who simply shook his head.
"finished a song today and then i was so excited that i could have the rest of the day with you and then i heard what you said to your sister."
"about what?"
"me possibly going away for tour. you should've known it was bound to happen eventually with my career, sage. it's not like you didn't know what i did for a living."
"daniel, i support you no matter what. if you need to go on tour, then i will support that. if you need anything, i'm here to support you."
"i'm sorry i read that the wrong way- i just can't lose you."
"it's okay, dani. i don't want to lose you either. which is why we aren't going to care about touring until it actually gets announced that you guys are doing so."
"we might do this virtual ticket thing so we don't have to leave los angeles but i truly don't know."
"you wouldn't have to leave home."
"yeah, home."
