"you did laundry?"
"yeah, you have a basket of clothes in your room already done."
"thank you." he said, dragging the end of the last word before kissing her cheek again.
"did you need anything because you're being extra clingy today?"
"sorry i just want to spend my one day off with my beautiful girlfriend."
"what're you buttering me up for?"
"i may or may not have bought a dog."
"daniel! what the actual fuck?" she asked, more excited than angry as she hurried out of the room to see the dog rolling around on the rug in the living area.
"hi baby." she greeted the dog once she walked up to it carefully, sage smiling as it sniffed her hand before giving it a lick and try and climb on top of her.
"what's it's name?"
"kobe."
"so cute. hi buddy." petting the dog's belly, she simply set kobe down before turning towards her boyfriend.
"he is a very cute dog."
"i know something else that's cute."
"and what might this something be?"
