Chapter 30

Luke's POV:

The amount of times we have both fallen asleep in her bed is not even surprising to me anymore. I had actually planed on attempting a relationship with Katie when Alanna called and to be completely honest it made me so angry because every time I tried to move on there she was but when she told me to come over it was the only thing on my mind and I was in her doorway in less then 20 minutes. 

Katie was actually really understanding about my entire situation with Alanna and even gave me some advice, I was going to do everything she told me until Alanna started talking about how she needed me and I melted and there was nothing to do about, I was forever going to be in her grip.

we were walking back to her room when we stopped in front of her closed door. Her back was to it and I could feel my heart hammering against my rib cage. I reached down and moved a strand of her dark curly hair behind her ear. She was looking up at me and for the first time since I met her I could read everything she was feeling in her eyes.

"God I love you" I said barely giving her enough time to say I love you too before my lips crashed against hers and I was kissing her as if she were air and I couldn't breathe. Her fingers tangled their way into my hair and her legs were wrapped around my waist. We were chaotic, not being careful, pretty sure we broke her stereo knocking it off her dresser. I laid her on her bed and her small shaky hands started tugging on my shirt. All our clothes were on the floor by then.

"L-luke..." she said quietly as I pressed my lips onto her neck leaving small love bites. I couldn't stop myself and neither could she we weren't meant to be apart from each other and we just seemed to realize it. 

I pulled away looking down at her naked body pressed against mine, she bit her lip looking back at me and pulled me back to her pressing her lips against mine giving me the ok. 

Alanna's POV:

I was laying on my stomach and could feel Luke's finger tips trailing invisible patterns on my skin, I wasn't sure what came over me but i'm glad I did because to be completely honest I have never been so happy. Luke was here, he was with me, we were together and I knew everything was going to be okay.

The sun was coming through my open curtains and I felt Luke's lips press against my temple "are you awake" He whispered rolling onto his side causing a rustling noise from the sheets. I just gave a small moan signaling I was. I could hear the smile in his voice and it made me think, I haven't heard him sound like that for a long time.

I rolled over to look at him and he was already looking down at me. He reached his hand over to push a strand of hair out of my face. 

"Have I ever told you that I love you?" I said quietly. Everything was quiet, the apartment was silent except for us and even the streets were quiet. He smiled and kissed my nose playfully. It felt so good to see him so happy.

"Actually not in a very long time" He said intertwining our fingers together. I giggled and kissed him softly letting my lips linger on his not in any hurry at all because all I wanted was to be here, with him, like this in so much bliss forever.

"well then I'll tell you" I said pausing slightly and shifting over to straddle his waist as he leaned against the head board of my bed "I love you so much Lucas Robert Hemmings " 

"And I love you Alanna Woods" He whispered quietly. We sat there for what seemed like forever just looking at each other. I didn't mind because just having this amazing boy here looking at me as if there was nothing else in the world was probably the best thing ever.

He smiled and kissed my cheek softly "do you want anything for breakfast?" he said hoping out of bed leaving it feeling very empty as he pulled on his boxers.

I sat up and thought about it for a moment "I'm really craving some pancakes" I said biting my lip and giving him a smile, he just nodded and made his way to the kitchen "oh with some strawberries please!" I yelled as he walked out of my room. I laid back down for a moment before realizing that the curtains in my living room were open to were anyone could see in.

I hoped up bundeling the sheets around my naked body before rushing in "Oh Luke wait the curtains are open" I stopped in my tracks were he was looking curiously at me, I walked over and shut them quickly "I know you don't really care if people see your taco boxers and all but anyone can see in from the streets" He laughed and continued to the kitchen.

I popped my head into the kitchen to see him mixing batter together "I'm gonna go take a shower and get dressed" I said as he turned to walk over to me, there was a strange mischievous look in his eyes.

"Well I think you look pretty good how you are" he said looking down at my matted hair and small body wrapped up in sheets. I laughed and turned to walk to my bathroom.

"Oh you're funny" I said and nearly peed myself with freight as I felt the sheets being pulled away from me. I gave a small scream as I wrapped my arms around myself protectively. Luke was laughing hysterically and I couldn't help it but laugh also as I pulled the sheets back.

"If you expect me to walk around naked then you have to do it too" I said to him teasingly but was surprised when I saw him taking his boxers off.

He smirked and walked over to me looking down at me with complete seriousness "better?" He said with a rough voice as he grabbed my hands pulling them away from myself slowly letting the sheets fall down to the floor.

I bit my lip and reached up on my tipy toes placing a kiss on his lips. He grabbed a hold on my waist roughly as he lifted my body up pressing myself to him.

There was a knock on my door witch pulled me out of my haze. I forgot Hannah was coming over to pick me up so we could go to the mall.

"Shit" I said grabbing the sheets and pushing Luke into my closet before hannah barged in uninvited. I barely had enough time to pull a robe on before she was walking through my bedroom door.

"So i'm guessing you aren't ready?" She said looking at me. I just shrugged and looked around getting a panicked sickening feeling settle in my stomach as I noticed Luke's clothes scattered around along with a used condom sitting on my bed. "well you better hurry and get dressed because we are supposed to meet Derek at the music store-" her voice trailed off as she sat down right were a certain object was sitting "I'm going to ask even though I'm scared to know the answer but what the hell could I be sitting on that is wet and sticky in your bed?" I opened my mouth to answer but closed it as she stood up and nearly screamed.

"I can explain" I said quickly as she looked at me with amazement and confusion.

"Well I certainly hope you can" she said looking at me waiting for an answer that never came "wait Alanna is this about those pictures of Luke and that girl? cause if it is honey please please please don't turn into a slut just to get back at him. He cheated on you and basically lied about it for forever and then let us not forget that horrible stage you were in were you wouldn't even leave your bedroom" I stood there in silence and thought about everything she was saying. "a boy that does that to a girl he supposedly loves doesn't deserve her one bit and definitely doesn't deserve her trying to get back at him"

I sighed and walked over to throw the condom away "I think I might just skip the mall today, I think i'm getting sick" she nodded and grabbed her bag as he made her way to the door.

I stood there quietly even after Hannah was gone. I could feel Luke's eyes burning a hole in my back. How was i supposed to do this? how could i just go back to him with the constant reminder of what he did to me? i knew there was a part of me that still didn't trust him but maybe it wasn't just a part, maybe I was fooling myself into believing that i did trust him just because I was jealous and because i missed him.

"Would it help if i said i'm sorry... again" Luke said quietly. I just nodded and turned back around to look at this adorable blond boy standing in my living room in taco boxers and i couldn't help but think to myself how could he make me so happy yet so heart broken at the same time.

"um i think you should go" I said quietly.

He nodded and pulled on his clothes he had been holding in his hands. Before pulling the door open he stopped for a moment and looked at me "I love you Alanna" He said quietly and left leaving me standing in an empty quiet apartment.
