Our 5 seconds of summer // l.h

Chapter 14

Alanna's POV:

So as it turns out the boys were coming home a week early, they had already been gone almost a month, and although I was glad Hannah and I were good again I still missed hanging out with them all the time and i missed going to they're recordings and stuff like that. 

Today to try and get my mind off of the boys I decided to see if Hannah wanted to go shopping with me, witch i already knew she would say yes. so i was getting all my stuff together when she knocked on my door and we were off to the mall. Hannah was going on and on about how she needed to get a bikini so she could go to beach this weekend and look good, i gave her a small laugh as we walked into the suim suit section and started looking around.

"wait stop" she said after a moment and we stood there frozen. somewhat confused i was about to ask her what was the matter when she held up a mand. "do you hear it?" i looked around and shook my head.

"hear what?" she looked at me a little annoyed and came over to stand beside me.

"the music, they're playing mrs. all american" i still wasn't sure what she was talking about, it was just a regular song. i looked at her questioningly and she looked utterly shocked. "you're dating one of the 5 seconds of summer boys and you don't even know what their songs are?!"

i laughed and tossed her a swim suit and she was instantly distracted. in my defense i just started listening to their music  a little while ago so no i haven't heard every single song of their's. there was a rack of sunglasses that i walked over to look at. as i tried on a pair of ray bands Hannah walked over to me and stood behind me looking over at something and smiled.

"there is a guy checking you out" she said with a giggle. i looked around the stand to see were she was looking. And yes there was a tall boy who was pretty tan and obviously muscular, he had dark hair and light eyes, i'll admit he was pretty cute.

"are you sure he's not staring at you?" i said looking back at hannah who was holding a while strapless bikini top and some sandals. she looked at me with an eyebrow raised and then smiled.

"if he were looking at me i would no" she said and paused looking back at him "and if he were looking at me he wouldn't be walking over to talk to you right this second" 

i turned around instantly and saw that he actually was walking towards me before i could turn back to Hannah and protest she was gone walking into the dressing rooms to try on her new swimm wear.

"Hey" a voice said from behind me and I turned back around for what was like the 10th time to see the tall, tan boy standing a few feet away from me. he was smiling down at me and i'll admit his smile was really cute.

"hi" i said maybe a little too quite but smiled a friendly smile towards him, he took another step closer to me.

"i'm James" he said still smiling and showing his really white teeth. he reached over and casually picked up a pair of sun glasses, looked them over and set them back down.

"I'm Alanna"

Luke's POV:

"GET UP!!" I yelled throughing a pillow over at Michael's limp body, he slept way to much and he didn't even care were he slept, like right now he was in the back room were the tv and the x-box is and he was spread out across the entire couch thing so there was no room for anyone. Finally he started to stir.

"what the hell Luke let me sleep" he said rolling over onto his side so his face was burried in the back of the couch. I smiled and grabbed his arms and started pulling him off the couch, odly though he was quite heavy.

"No Calum and I want to play video games move" I said at the same time he landed with a thump on the floor were I on the other hand just toppled bacwards falling flat on my ass. Michael stood up finally and stalked past me towards his bunk, climbed up and closed to curtain.

"Are we ready yet?" Calum said coming into view behind me. He looked down at me and gave me a small look before laughing and stepping over me making sure to half sit on my head as he passed and threw himself into the couch grabbing a controller. 

I got to my feet and went to sit on the couch. I took the controller from his hands as he passed one to me. "I wanted to me first player" I said with a laugh and pulled my legs up onto the couch at the same time Ashton walked in eating a bananna.

"well too bad" Calum said as he chose a game and tossed another controller over to Ashton "You playing?" He asked him as he sat down.

"Nah i'll probably just watch" He said taking a bite out of his fruit. Calum chose some car racing game and I could already predict the future were I lost and he doesn't let it go for over a week or two.

The game started and I was already behind. I could see Ash pull out his phone through the corner of my eye and a second later felt my phone vibrate, the vibration wasn't long enough to be a text but it was short enough to be a tweet so i'm guessing he just tweeted something about me sucking at this game.

I tried turning a corner but accidentally flipped my car over causing me to be even more behind, not to mention only a few seconds ago I had a pit stop that I didn't want so that made me behind even more. Calum laughed as his car crossed the finish line and he jumped out of his seat with a triumphant yell.

"I don't wanna play anymore" I said tossing my controller into the basket they are always kept in. Calum gave a small laugh before calling my a sore loser and picked a one player game. Shortly after my mum walked over to us letting everyone now we were going to get out and get something to eat, she just needed to know what we all wanted.

"Panda express!!" Michael yelled from behind his curtain on his bunk, mum smiled and nodded before walking back to the lounge. I grabbed my phone and saw I had a missed call from Alanna, so I called her back but in facetime.

she answered on about the 5th ring. "Oh good you called me back just in time, i'm having a crisis" she said and set her phone down and it seemed like she was rumaging in her closet for something. She was wearing some spandex with one of my nirvana shirts.

"is that my shirt?" I asked with a smile, and actually she looked pretty cute it in.

"bro that's all you notice what she turns around" Ashton said with a laugh as he leaned over to look at the screen. I threw a pillow at his face. Alanna seemed to not have heard.

"Don't look at my girlfriend's ass" I said but ended up laughing. I turned my attention back to the phone. "Whats your crisis?" i asked at the same time as i watched Calum choose a gun to kill a zombie alien.

"I have to go with my parents to some benefit thing and a bunch of really important guys will be there and if I make a good impretion I might be able to have a better chance of getting into collage and I have no freaking idea what to wear" 

"Yeah collage was never my thing" I said with a laugh "but what are your options, just a heads up i'm not very good with telling a girl what to wear" she turned back to her phone holding up white shirt and a black high waisted skirt i assumed, and a nude color dress. I thought about it for a moment. "um i'd have to go with the dress"

"Thank you so much but hey I gotta go but i'll call you later?" she said tossing the clothing onto her bed. and picking up the phone again.

"yeah that's fine" I said with a nodd before giving a starled jump as Calum screamed in my ear obviously upset he just lost.

"okay see yah!" she said and hung up. I tossed my phone onto the couch and wen't back to arguing with Calum and watching the video games he played.
