Chapter 17

Alanna's POV:

So turns out that special date Luke was talking about at lunch was basically driving all the way down to some deserted part of a beach. To be completely honest it was gorgeous, and i'm guessing it was deserted probably because it was someone's private property. I smiled when he opened the door for me, he was carrying a blanket and a picnik basket witch i thought as kinda silly since we literally just stuffed ourselve's with a bunch of italian food. 

He spread the blanket out on a small little hill looking over the water and the setting sun. In the distance you could see a peer and some houses but there was no noise, no cars or dogs or little kids screaming and throwing sand it was... perfect. Luke pulled out a bottle of wine from the picnik basket along with two glasses. I couldn't help but giggle a little.

"I have to say your idea of a romantic date really is romantic" I said teasingly take the glass full of red liquid from him as he handed it over to me. He just smiled as he poured his glass. "although neither of us are 21" I said taking a sip.

"Well technically you have to be 21 to drink beer and some other things" He gave me that little smile that showed his dimples and made my stomach do a little summer sault.

"that's very true" I answered him looking out at the water. "I love this" He gave me a questioning look before I continued "The way the sun dances off the water and makes it look so many different colors, and the way the sky lights up as if it were painted by someone"  

He chuckled "I didn't know you have an artistic side" He said finished his glass and setting it in the sand beside the blanket. I swollowed the rest of my drink and set the glass down also.

I gave a little shrug "I wish I was artistic, I just see something that looks amazing and wish I could put it in paper so that i'd never forget the tiny little details that make it so beautiful...." 

He smiled and grabbed my hand locking our fingers together "thats what pictures are for" He said simply with a teasing grin. I laughed and looked over at him finally only to see him inches away staring at me. My breath caught in my throat by his closeness and I couldn't help but look down at his lips and his lip ring. I decided not to try and cover it up instead I took in every little detail of his face; the curve of his chin to his jaw line, the sharpness of his cheek bones, then the blueness of his eyes and how the sun made them look almost neon. it was that moment that i realized how in love with him i am.

Once i had finally looked back up to his eyes his fingers were under my chin and his lips pressed against mine, it was almost like electricity running through me every where he touched. I grabbed his shirt pulling him closer to me even tho there wasn't even any room between us. I felt his lips part and the coldness of his lip ring. I pulled away to catch my breath for a second, he leaned his forehead against mine.

"I love you" he whispered with his eyes closed. His voice was different, it wasn't his silly playfull voice that made you just want to kiss him to death now it was rough and low that made you know that you were his and he wasn't ever going to let go.

Luke's POV:

it got darker then I had actually expected. We were just laying on the blanket looking at the stars, I honestly never got tired of listening to Alanna, she was so full of life, from the way she talked about the sun set to how she came up with her own constelations. I love her so much and I already knew i was going to lose her and the thought already made it feel like there was a weight on my chest that keeps pressing down stopping the air from getting to my lungs.

"look" she said quietly pointing to some stars "it looks like an infinity with another infinity inside it" She added and I could hear the smile in her voice. I looked over at her and my heart leaped when I saw her smile and the way her eyes lit up.

"I love you infinity times infinity" I said and she looked over at me and even in the dark I could see her blush. 

"Then that's our constelation" She whispered and leaned over pecking my lips, I smiled and pulled her back kissing her again and wrapped an arm around her waist. She pulled away after a moment "Its getting late" 

I nodded and looked over at my phone, it was almost 11:00 and we had almost a 2 hour drive back home. I stood up and helped her to her feet. We packed up the picnik basket and blanket and walked back to the car through the sand.

We finally made it back to me and guys' house around 1:30. Odly enough the house was silent witch was weird since everyone was usually still up at this time. I brushed the thought away and set the stuff on the couch before we walked back to my room. In the proces of sneaking past the room my mum was staying in I tripped over a back pack that was filled with something noisy not to mention Alanna's burst of laughter that came after it. 

Passing Calum's room you could hear him snoring, he always denyied that he snored no matter how many times we told him he did. Eventually we made it back to my room with the minimum of noise as possible. I went over to my closet and pulled out a regular t-shirt for her to wear. When she walked out of my bathroom after having showered she was in nothing but my shirt.

"relax i'm wearing underwear" She said with a giggle at how I was staring at her. She pulled the towel out of her hair letting in fall down her back as she hung it up on the back of my bathroom door

"oh darn" I said teasingly and pulled my shirt off and tossed it into my closet as she climbed into my bed and watched me until I was laying next to her. She lifted her arm and messed with my hair for a moment before smiling and rolling onto her side. I watched her until her breathing evened, Alanna sleeping was honestly the most peacefull thing ever, not in a creepy way, but it was just so peacfull and even when she was asleep she still looked so happy and alive. wow I really was in love with her.
