Chapter 4

Luke's POV:

"Okay point proven but still"  Alanna's message read the second I opened my phone. I had been texting her for a few days now still trying to debate on were I could take her that would be nice but were no one would somehow manage to recognize me.

"Okay i have an idea 4 our date" I decided that for our first date I would just have her over and we could just hang out and watch movies and stuff. Somehow during every one of our conversations the topic of the band had come up and i'd been trying to convince her to give it a try but she kept saying stuff like she doesn't have time.

It had taken her longer then usual to answer my message. Thats something I Like about texting her is she's the type of person to answer right away "date?" was all her message said once she had answered. I realized my mistake the second she pointed it out and man did I feel awfully stupid.

"well i mean if u want it to be a date..." I wasn't sure how to play it off so I figured I would just answer how I noramally would.

"do u want it to be a date?" I could already picture her cheeks turning red and wished I could be saying all this in person just to see her smile her awkward smile and to see her cheeks flush pink. We had actually facetimed a couple times since I met Alanna and it was great and all but It wasn't the same as getting to see her. There had been a couple times when I had been waalking down the street and some girls had come up and asked for pictures when I would see her walking down the street. But by the time I had gotten away from the other people all she had time for was a wave before dissapearing around a corner.

"actually i would love 4 it to be a date"  I said honestly, everytime we had talked I haven't been hiding the fact that I think she's amazing and that I really like her but we haven't actually been out enough times for me to be certain she likes me and to ask her out.

" aww luke!! :) "   I smiled at her message before I decided I would call her and ask her out over the phone properlly and not over a text message. She picked up on the 3rd ring witch made me think maybe she was kinda excited I was calling. When she asnwered the phone I could hear giggling and Alanna hushing whoever she was with.

"Hey" She said and I could hear the smile in her voice.

"You know you don't have to hush all the giggling because of me" I said with a chuckle and could hear her cute laugh.

"Alright, I'll just let Hannah go wild with excitment over here" Hannah was her best friend, she told me that it was because of her she even barely knew the name of the band.

"So hey listen since I want it to be a date I figured I would call and ask you out sorta properlly" I said and could hear my own voice as it wavered. "So would you like to go out with me sometime?"

I waited for a few moments as the giggling increased dramatically but it was to low and far away for it to be Alanna "Luke? Yes I would love to go out with you"

I couldn't stop the smile as it grew and spread across my face "Great well maybe tomorrow we could just watch a movie or something? I could pick you up? be the first boy in your appartment"

"what makes you think you'd be the first boy in my appartment?" She said jokingly.

"Well correct me if i'm wrong but didn't you just move in two days ago?"

"Yeah?"

"Well I just figured you wouldn't have had 1 - never mind" I said feeling stupid and let out a soft laugh.

"Alright well yes that sounds great. But hey I'm kinda bussy unpacking in all but let me know what time you plan on picking me up?"

"Will do" I said still smiling like an idiot "Bye" I said at the same time she did and waited for her to hang up.
