Chapter 12

Alanna's POV:

It had been days since I had last spoken to Luke, days since I last saw his face, since I last heard his voice, even if they were full of anger and hurt. A couple hours after it had happened I decided I would call Hannah witch she finally answered but also sounded very annoyed. I told her what had happened and after that she appologized for how she had reacted and came over, we spent the afternoon watching movies and eating junk food with my occasional shedding of a few tears. Finally at around midnight my phone started buzzing, Hannah had already fallen asleep so I walked to my room and answered it not even bothering to see who it was.

"Hello?" I answered not trying to be to loud as I quietly closed to door behind me and sat down on my bed.

"Hey" The voice on the other end of the line sounded raspy and slow, it was different then his usual up beat tone it even sounded as if he had been drinking a little.

"Luke?" I said trying to hold back the tears that stung my eyes.

"Yeah it's me" I sat there in silence trying to think of something to say when he continued "Look Alanna i'm so sorry I don't know why I was so jealous, I messed up and I said a bunch of stuff I shouldn't have"

I shook my head even tho he couldn't see me "No i'm sorry the thing I said about Ashton and me, it's not true I didn't even mean it"

He sighed from the other end of the phone "i'm just sorry, im so so so sorry for everything, I completely messed up and there is no possible way for you to forgive me...."

I was somewhat confused by how sad he sounded and why he thought he ruined everything when it was just a fight "No Luke don't say that, you didn't ruin anything" I said quietly.

"yes I have" He honestly sounded on the verge of tears but I wasn't sure "Alanna?"

"Yeah?" My voice cracked at the sound of him, I was afraid of what he was going to say and I wasn't even sure why, he just sounded so broken, like he was shattered into a million tiny pieces.

there was a short pause " nevermind.... I love you" 

"I love you too" I said started to get really confused and curious as to why he was like this.

"No I don't think you understand how in love with you I am"

We sat there in silence for a what felt like forever before he spoke up "I should probably go to bed, its almost 4:00 in the morning here, i'll call you tomorrow?"

"Yeah... goodnight" And with that the phone went dead.

Luke's POV:

 Waking up a little hung over really sucks especially when you have rehersals the next day. It felt like I had just gone to bed when Calum was hitting me with a pillow.

"Get up you fat lard" He said before hitting me one last time and walking away.

I rolled over onto my back, looking at the top of the tour bus, I wasn't exactly sure what all I had said to Alanna but I remember appologizing. My phone beeped and from the 'goodmorning <3'  text I got from her I assume I didn't say anything to bad.I hoped out of bed and grabbed my pants from my suitcase along with my hoodie and my backpack with some other clothes I would need to change into. I'm guessing today was going to be busy ass hell since we have like 3 interviews, recording, a meet and greet or maybe 2 meet and greets that last forever, a photoshoot and rehersals for tomorrow's concert and it's only 6:30 in the morning.

"Well Lucas while you were snoozing we braught you back a starbucks and a muffin" Ashton said handing me and starbucks bag. "Also you might want to like wash your face before your mum sees and gets tottally pissed off that you were drinking and are hung over" He gave me a pat on my shoulder before walking to bus door.

There was only like 10 minutes left until our 2nd interview started, although I was feeling a little crummy It was a lot better then how I felt waking up this morning. A tall bald man in a black muscle shirt came by our dressing room telling us it was time to go. Reluctantly I set my water bottle down and followed Michael out the door towards the sound of screaming girls.

We were greeted on stage by an older woman with long dark hair that reminded me of Alanna a little and green eyes. She smiled at us and gestured for us to sit.

"Welcome! it's so good to have you guys here" She said with a smiled as she held onto her question cards and cross her legs.

"Well it's definitly good to be here, and not just because we've been crammed into a bu for days" Ashton said getting a small laugh from the lady and the crowd.

"How is that exactly? living on a bus for months" She asked putting on the questioner face all interviewers got.

This time it was Calum who answered "You know it's actually not bad I mean for us i'd say it's pretty fun" He said looking at the rest of the boys for an approval "Well I can't really say the same for the rest of the adults who are there too" 

I managed to small as I started to feel the buzz fading and the usual interview jitters and sillyness starting to take over. "Luke I understand your mom is traveling with y'all?" The lady said turning her attention to me. 

I lifted my mic before answering "Yeah she's with us"

"Does she get annoyed with y'all on the bus?"

I smiled a little as Ashton and Michael started to laugh "Yeah you could say that"

"Uh oh, is she like the strict band mom?" She asked looking down at her cards for a moment.

"You know I think she mainly just gets annoyed with us argueing sometimes" I said looking down at the line of boys.

"What do y'all mainly argue about?" She asked and picked up a water bottle from beside her chair and took a sip before setting it down and turning her attention to us again.

"Underwear" Michael said matter of fact, as the crowd started to laugh a little "Yeah we all take each other's underwear and then we start fighting about it and Liz will like get really mad at us, i'm pretty sure she even put Ashton in a time out once"

I laughed at the same time everyone else did. "No see I was framed for stealing Calum's underwear when it was actually Luke --" Ashton said but was inturrupted by Calum.

"Ugh he always takes my underwear, you know he takes everyone's underwear all the time" He said pointing a finger at me.

After a few more laughs and a few more questions I started to get a little tired probably from only having about 3 hours of sleep last night, I didn't even realize I was being asked something until Ashton elbowed me in the ribs.

"I'm so sorry what?" I asked feeling a little stupid.

The lady just smiled "I understand you have a new girl friend" At that everyone in the audience seemed to have errupted either in disaproval or in apporoval.

I just smiled and bit my lip as the boys started to immitate me and how I would act around Alanna "Okay you can stop now " I said looking at them and then turning back to her "Yeah her name is Alanna" 

"And how did you meet her?"

"uhh It was when we had just gotten here from Australia and a lot of people were at the air port, she said she was just driving her friend there and she even told us that she didn't even like our music" I paused for a moment to laugh at the memory "And yeah she was talking to Ash and Mike when I saw her and just walked up to her and yeah one thing led to another"

There were a few aw's from the crowd and some laughter from the boys before the subject was changed and I started to blurr everything out only somewhat paying attention just to answer whenever I got a question.
