Battle at Atlas

"Midori." A voice spoke as she walked through the woods with her group.

"That voice..." She mumbled.

"Something wrong?" Summer asked.

"No... Just someone important is speaking..." She replied.

"Who?" Ace spoke, but his answer came when a being with six black feathers wings manifested beside her, "Satanael."

"Midori. I sense trouble for your father. Ishtar and Death will not be enough for his battle. I request sending a few of the spirits to his aid." He said ignoring Ace.

"Who..." Tai began.

"Later..." Ace replied.

"Why do you need my permission?" Midori asked.

"As the current heir to the possession semblance your safety is a priority, but we know how much he means to you. Protecting F/N means protecting you."

"Go help papa." She ordered.

"May I take a few spirits with me?" He asked.

"Anything to help papa." She replied.

"Ace I leave the safety of the girl with you, Tai, and Summer." He replied.

"My daughter would never speak to me if anything happened to her." Ace bowed.

"Good. We shall return shortly child." He said.

"No. Whoever you take will stay with papa and help him. Protect papa that is your mishion." She said mispronouncing her word.

"As you wish." He chuckled and vanished.

I landed on the ground at the city limits of Atlas. In the distance I saw my sister standing in the horizon with a wall of flames behind her. Her hair and eyes were ablaze, her sword in hand as she leered at my very being, "Amber..." I mumbled as I gripped the bow tightly in my hand.

"F/N..." She grumbled as her hate burned into my mind. I noticed her hand grip the hilt of her blade tightly as I summoned a light arrow and nocked it onto the string of my bow. I glanced behind and noticed the streets were void of any life. I took a deep breath and exhaled before returning my sight to my sister.

"Okay..." I mumbled as I stood there waiting for her to make a move. Call me idiotic, but she's my little sister. I will only fight her in self defense. Though considering she hasn't moved means she is still resisting and my suspicions were confirmed when I saw her tearing up while she mouthed a phrase.

"I'm sorry..."

"I know... I know..." I mumbled back at her and she instantly raised her blade sending a wave of flames towards me. I raise my foot and stomp the floor dissipating the flames. Amber was above and brought her sword down on me. I shifted to the side as I drew the arrow and aimed at her arm. I fired the arrow but Amber leaned back avoiding the projectile. She attempts to punch me with a flaming fist. I smacked her arm away and her attack burns right through the walls of a building.

"Careful! My power is focused on Ragnarok." Death spoke.

"I know." I replied as I aimed a finger at her abdomen and fired a light beam at her launching her away. Without wasting a breath I nocked another arrow and fired at where she flew. The building she crashed into began to explode in a vibrant golden light as it began to collapse. I took this moment of reprieve to reposition onto a rooftop by flying to it. As I readied another arrow Amber exploded out of the rubble and slashed at the building I stood on, "Crap..."
