A Family Broken

Jett lies on the ground he looked at Lapis as she layed beside him. He moves himself slightly to see Fredrick on the ground still not moving. Grimm begin to appear surrounding his body, "N...no... Get away from him..." He said weakly. He hears footsteps and guns being aimed. He looks up and sees the Atlas Androids approach and aim at him, "D-damn it..." He said as he tries to get up but couldn't muster any strength, "Lapis... I'm sorry..." As they were about to shoot at them the sound of slashing is heard. The droids wall to the ground in pieces as he hears a familiar voice.

"Come on... you ain't done yet..." He said lifting Jett into a fireman's carry.

"G-grant?" Jett asked looking at him.

"Henry get Lapis." He said.

"Yeah..." Jett sees Henry picking her up.

"Fred..."

"Sorry Jett... We can't do more than this..." He said. Jett looks at him and sees that his arm has a bad gash on it and his face had a cut from his cheek up to his eye, "So many Grimm... Let's go." He said as the two begin to walk away with the two casualties. Though as they ran Jett felt his wounds beginning to heal and his body strengthening, "No... Damn it! It can't be!" He thought to himself.

Akame lays Kurumi on the ground with Mary's help. Mary helps Akame sit down as they finally arrived at the evac location. Akame's wounds burn as she looks around. She sees Yang and Blake on the ground while Ruby and Weiss arrive.

"What happened!?" Weiss yelled as she ran up to them.

"Aunt Kurumi!" Midori yelled as she approached them with Ace and the Malachite twins behind her.

"Hey puffball..." She said weakly, "Where is your grandma?" She asked.

"She's in the city looking for uncle Jett and water lady..." She responded.

"Okay..." She said.

"Ruby find a doctor and get Neo to a ship!" Weiss yelled.

"On it!" Ruby said running off with Neo following behind.

"Mama Yang!" Midori looks at Yang seeing her arm missing, "What happened?" She asked.

"Midori I'm sorry it's my fault..." Blake said.

"Did you cut her arm off?" Midori asked.

"N-no but..."

"Then it's not your fault!" Midori yelled, "Who hurt mama?" Midori asked.

"Adam Taurus..." Akame said, "And Zero did this to Kurumi."

"Where is papa?" She asked.

"Fighting Zero." Mary said holding her arm.

"Then it's fine... Papa will win... Papa always wi..." Midori paused remembering her nightmare. She looked at Kurumi and noticed her wounds matched the ones in her dream.
