I made it to the village Death lead me to. My body began to suffer extreme pain from the burns as they healed from their original fourth degree burns to three degrees. My injuries should fully heal in about an hour. Though the main problem for me is finding Raven. I'm starting to remember how they looked so it shouldn't be too difficult. My clothes regenerated to hide my injuries.
"F/N!" I heard a child yell. I turned around to see Kohina. She hugged my leg which actually shot pain throughout my body.
"Good you're safe." I said resisting the urge to flinch, "Where is Raven?"
"Good to see you still standing." She said. I gazed up at her and Vernal.
"Barely." I replied, "We gotta go now. Staying here is dangerous."
"We just hijacked a ship." Vernal said, "Hid it in the woods not far from here."
"Alright... To Atlas." I said.

Took about ten minutes to get to the ship they acquired. Vernal had to help me move as the pain was getting more unbearable.
"What happened?" Raven asked as Vernal began to pilot the ship.
"My strength isn't as it should be. Damn curse. I had fourth degree burns, but healed them to third degree. My sense of pain has returned so it's agonizing." I said.
"How are you even moving?" Kohina asked.
"Normally I shouldn't be. Though I locked my memories temporarily and Death had them regain slowly to keep me going. Had I not I'd be comatose for about three days." I said.
"You locked your memories?" Raven asked.
"Temporarily. They are coming back... Slowly." I replied.
"How long till you recover from your wounds?" She asked.
"About... 45 minutes. I'll have second degree burns in 15. How long till we get to Atlas?"
"Three days." Kohina said.
"Then my memories will fully return when we get there." I said.
"So you sacrifice your memories to gain power?" Raven asked.
"No... I sacrifice my humanity. My memories have emotions tied to them and those emotions are what time me to my humanity. I could even permanently erase my memories and depending on the emotions tied to it my power increases." I said.
"Have... You..." Kohina asked.
"Yes... Though I don't know what they were. They are gone forever." I said.
"Is there any way to regain them?" Raven asked.
"No... Even if I were to see a video of that memory I would forget it instantly again." I said.
"Is it worth it?" Raven asked.
"For Midori... Yes." I replied.
"Is she really that special?" Raven asked.
"I probably regret doing many things, but meeting Midori... Raising her... Those moments of my life are my most valuable memories... The memories that make me the most human. I could gain a massive amount of power by forgetting them, but... I'll never do that." I replied.
