Midori laid in her room, alone. Her body was sore and unresponsive, though she doesn't have the luxury to lay there and be consumed by the pain. She forced herself to get out of her bed and gazed at her nightstand. A lone doll sat there, gazing at her. The doll resembled her father, she walked up to it and picked it up. All her pain was for him and her family. She will do whatever it takes to make them whole again. She embraced the doll and remembered what she did a day after her father left.

"You what?" Ace asked.
"Please train me!" Midori yelled. Her eyes full of tears.
"Listen I'm the last person to ask this. I'm technically still trying to kill you." He began.
"I don't care! Nobody else can train me but you." Midori said.
"Pyrrha..." He began.
"She would make the training to easy for me." She said, "And she's also got a baby."
"Don't remind me... Gotta pay that bastard back one day." Ace sighed.
"Please... I can't just be at home doing nothing while my family is separated." Midori begged.
"I can't really say no now can I?" Ace said.
"Does this mean..." She looked up at him.
"If I refuse I'm sure Pyrrha would hate me..." He said looking away.
"Thanks Grandpa!" She yelled hugging his leg. Her eyes still full of tears.
"Yes, yes. Just warning you now expect a lot of pain." He said patting her head.
"As long as I can see Papa again I don't care." She said.
"Do it for Pyrrha?" Ace sighed.

Midori falls to one knee as she was now outside in the woods.
"Is that all you can handle?" Ace yelled. He stabbed a sword in the ground and leaned on it, "You expect to save your family with this much effort?" He asked.
"I'm... I'm not done!" Midori yelled as she raised her Scythe.
"Even though it's a replica your father gave you it still has a lot of power. Show me what you got." Ace said raising his sword.
"Focus child." Jormungandr said. Midori charged at Ace and brought her scythe down at him. He didn't even use his sword to block it, instead her grabbed the handle with one hand. He punches her ten feet backwards as she rolls on the ground.
"Seriously? Stop being afraid of that power. We thrive using our spirits and you have generations of them, yet you refuse to use any." Ace said annoyed, "You think your father can fight without him? Listen even he uses Death every time he enters combat. How can you subdue Ragnarok if you can't even use the benevolent spirits?"
"Sweetie he's right let us help." Ishtar spoke.
"But... I'm scared." She said.
"Of what? Losing yourself? What did you tell me when you came to me for training? You hate the idea of never seeing your father again. If you stay afraid you will never see him again!" Ace yelled, "The only one who can break the ritual is you. So quite being afraid and come at me!" Midori coughed as she struggled to stand.
