"An empty seat fills the Chamber. We have an even number." A voice spoke.
"We need a replacement." A woman said.
"Is there even anyone that can fill the seat?" The voice spoke.
"Edwards lineage is not suitable, a new family must take the seat." The woman replied.
"Should we wait on Ace before we come to a decision?" A man spoke.
"We need the odd number right now. I'm sure we have the same thought." The voice spoke.
"James and his wife are confirmed deceased, their bodies have been recovered and ready for burial." The woman began.
"Are we seriously contemplating the family that defected from us?" The man asked.
"If Remnant is to survive we need all the help we can get. Even you understand that." The woman said, "Though will even one of them accept?"
"They will, if we make a contract. Gabriel..."
"Yes?" A female voice spoke.
"I have a message, but before that... Any opposed?" He asked. None raised their hands, "Then I shall send the message."

Weiss woke up eventually and found me speaking with Kagetane. The moment he noticed her approaching us he excused himself, "Mrs. L/N." He bowed to her as he passed her. She had a prideful smile spread across her face as she curtseys at him. She approached me grabbing my hand without any hesitation.
"You weren't in bed when I woke up." She said.
"Got a lot on my mind. I needed to think for a bit." I replied. She gazed at me with worried eyes as she clasped my hand in between her hands.
"I know a place where you can calmly collect your thoughts." She said with a soft smile. I couldn't help but smile at her under my mask.
"Lead the way." I said.
Weiss guided me to a garden courtyard in her home. The flowers varied in color and species as a large fountain sat in the center. The stone walkways were polished that the only traction was from the grooves between each stone slab, "What you think?"
"It has a very calming atmosphere." I replied as I looked around as the sun began to rise in the distance. The warmth of the ray gave me a familiar feeling that I thought I'd never feel again. My voice rang in my head, the words that I heard was the day we were told to disband by the elders, "No matter what we are family. If I have to disobey their orders to protect our family... I won't hesitate to do so."
"I'll sacrifice everything for the happiness of you all..." I mumbled to myself.
"What was that?" Weiss asked as she looked away from the orange sky to meet my eyes.
"Nothing... Just thought of an old memory." I replied as I heard the voices of my siblings.
"Likewise, F/N." Amber replied.
"I'll follow you no matter what." Kurumi said.
"I'll always be ready to ride with you three any day." Jett said.
I glanced at Weiss as she smiled at me, "Let's sit down."
"Ah my little snowflake I brought you some drinks as you requested." A butler said as her approached us.
"Thank you Klein." Weiss replied as she grabbed the two cups of tea in a tray.
"And who might you be?" He asked with a calm smile.
