[Y/N's POV]
Once Wendy and I got back to the group, she went on to talk to some of the other people there. I got a bit curious and decided to take a look at the surroundings. Besides the destroyed Nirvana in the background, the rest of the place seemed very beautiful. It was a bit older style but very colorful. I turned back around towards the lake and saw the rolling waves coming towards the shore. I don't know why, but scenes in nature like this are very calming. I decided to just sit on the ground and stare at the scenery since I hardly get to appreciate nature like this. I eventually heard some footsteps coming towards me, so I turned my head to see who it was. I probably could've just guessed from the scent, but it was Erza and Wendy. When they get over to where I am, Erza speaks up.
Erza: "Come on, Y/N. We are about to part ways with everyone. Also, Wendy seems to want to show you her guild."
I look over to wendy to see her with a smile on her face. I smile and quietly chuckle before standing up. I pat Wendy's head before speaking.
Y/N: "Alright, let's go see your guild, Wendy. Then I'll have to get going with everyone else."
Wendy nodded and started running towards her guild with Carla following after her. I just shake my head while smiling at her childishness. Erza and I start walking over as well, but when we get there, it seems that a large crowd of people has shown up in front of Wendy. They were all smiling, but I could tell something was off. It seems I'm not the only one as the rest of Team Natsu, Lamia Scale, and Blue Pegasus started to gather as well. One man, in particular, stood out. An old man on the shorter side with a lot of white facial hair and a halo war bonnet. I noticed he held a lot of magical power, even close to rival Guildarts and gramps. It seems Jura noticed it as well given his eyes widened slightly when looking at him. The man proceeded to introduce himself as Roubaul, the master of Cait Shelter, as well as explain that they are the Nirvit tribe.
Roubaul: "400 years ago, I had created Nirvana to stop the war that was raging across the world. I had created Nirvana, magic that inverts light and darkness. It became our country. For some time, we had peace. However, a great power, without fail, rose to oppose it. As much as Nirvana interchanged darkness and light, Nirvana was enveloped in darkness. This was to maintain balance. It is impossible to change people's personalities to light without limit. The darkness lost among many people came back to us Nirvit. It was a nightmare. We had killed each other until no one was left. I am the only survivor... well, that isn't quite right. My body has perished a long time ago. I am in a spectral form of sorts now. A weak ghost trying to atone for his sins in the past. I watched over Nirvana for 400 years until someone appeared who would be able to destroy it. And now, my role is finally over."
Wendy: "W-what are you saying?"
I had figured out what he was saying. Now that Nirvana is finally destroyed, he can finally move on to the afterlife. It's painful to know, especially since this is the person that took Wendy into their home.
