A/N: I'm so sorry everyone for the long wait. I've been preparing a special surprise for y'all. As a thank you for being such awesome people, I decided to record myself playing the Fairy Tail theme on the piano. I apologize for any mistakes in the song, I spent around 5 hours doing attempt after attempt to finally get it right. I also apologize for it being filmed vertically and the crappy audio quality. It was the only way I could film it properly based on the keyboard setup. I noticed while writing this that we reached 8.8k reads. Holy crap on a cracker, that is a large number. Thank you, everyone, for the support you show for the book. It means a lot to me. I think you all have waited long enough. Without further ado, let's jump right into the chapter!

[Y/N's POV]
I woke up tired at 6:00 in the morning and prepared myself a quick breakfast of some toast with butter and some poached eggs. After eating, I cleaned everything in the apartment to make it look nice for my return. Since packing doesn't take much thought, I just put some of the clothes I'd need for the trip and packed them in my suitcase. It was then onto the final orders of business: getting myself ready so I don't look like a caveman and choosing what to bring with me. I first did my normal routine: shave, brush teeth, comb hair, etc.. Then I sat in front of my bookshelf thinking about what to bring with me.
Y/N: *talking to self* "What should I bring with me? Hmmm. Quantum Mechanics problems will be nice. Oooh, I should also bring some differential equations problems as well! And some logic puzzles to kill time when I'm bored." *looks at bag* "Well, I room for one more thing. More problems? Nah. The problems I have now will be fine. Cards? Wait, nevermind, I can't exactly play solitaire without Natsu burning all the cards... Oooh, I know! Chess problems! Those are always fun to solve!" *packs everything in bag* "Alright I'm ready to go." *looks at time* "7:00, let's get there early so everyone knows where to meet up."
I then grab my bag and head off towards the train station. When I got to the train station, I found a bench that was out in the open so that they could see where I was at. Seeing as it was only 7:15, I decide to sit back and work on some chess puzzles while waiting.
*Timeskip brought to you by Erza trying to shove a strawberry cheesecake into every suitcase she is bringing*
[Y/N's POV]
A feminine voice disturbs my focus on solving the puzzle in front of me.
???: "I see that you're here early, again."
I look up to see Erza looking down at me and my book of chess puzzles. I know she wants me to talk, so I'll go along with it. I don't want to have to deal with Erza pestering me again on speaking.
(A/N: Unless otherwise stated, assume Y/N speaks quietly but loud enough for the person to hear. It's getting quite tiring to write "quietly" every time he talks.)
Y/N: "Hey, Erza."
Erza: *tilts head in confusion* "What book is that? I've never seen you with it before."
Y/N: "I got the book a while ago, but only worked on it in my apartment. It's a book with chess puzzles."
Erza: *sighs and laughs a little* "You and your puzzles. You know that there are other things you can do to entertain yourself right?"
