Warden's POV
Marzil has been worrying me. I know some people say that some kids are smart while they grow up. I have even heard of a kid that graduated college at age ten, but this is ridiculous. She has read over half of the books in the library in the prison. All of them aren't ment for a kid her age. The best one for her to read is probably Harry Potter and she has read it six or seven times. She even read a manual once and remember like half of the content. I sighed as I rested my head on my desk. Not only that, but she also memorized the air vents. This might not seem like a big problem, but it becomes one when she knows how to get in and out of them. She doesn't get lost or stuck, but finding her is a problem. You might be asking how did this all come about? Well it started with her schooling. We found she caught on to speaking easily and she seemed interested in books. So we decided to start her schooling early. We had Seitarou teach her because he was smart and his kinder demeanor makes he more suitable. Only problem was that apparently she was a quick learner and her lover for reading made it hard for Seitarou teach her. When he would go to teach her she would already know want to do and knew the answer is seconds. Apparently this week we found out that she understands and knows how to do algebra. She had to write numbers down to remember them, but besides that it was done in her head. When she was having one of her lessons Seitarou had to go to monitor room in building 13 he brought Marzil with him. They continued the lesson there. While Seitarou was watching the cameras she found a layout of the air vents and memorized it after she did her work. After that she found a way into the vents from her room and now uses them to get to certain rooms. That is what was happening right now. She went into the vents and now we have no clue where she is.
I heard something in the vents. I looked to see Marzil opening the vent. She climbed out and closed the vent. I sighed, "Marzil come here please." She walked over to me. "Honey I want you to start leaving a note or some to tell us where you are going. You worry everyone when you go in the vents and no one knows where you are." She smiled and nodded. "I will Mommy. I just wanted to go to the library." She took a book out of her small backpack she carried. I smiled and kissed her head. "Okay dear." She sat on a couch that was in the room and read her book. She was really sweet, but maybe a little to smart.
Marzil's POV
I was with Mommy in her office. She spent a lot of time in here by herself, so I decided to come visit her. I read my book as Mommy did her work. There was a nock on the door. Mommy told them to come in as she looked up at the door. I just kept reading my book. That was till I saw a very familiar tail. I looked up to see Samon talking to Mommy. He was handing her a few papers. I would go up and hug him, but Mommy told me to wait till someone is done talking to her to talk to them. After they finish talking Samon turned to leave. I jumped down from the couch and walked over to him. "Lemur!" I hugged him, well his legs. He jumped slightly and yelped slightly. He quickly looked down at me. I giggled as he sighed. "You are to sneeky." I giggled again and smiled as I let him go. "No, I think you're just very oblivious." His sweat dropped as he said, "You know kids your age don't usually know what that means or how to use it properly in a sentence." I just smiled and remarked with, "Well I'm not a normal kid am I?" I giggled creepily at him and he froze. "Marzil if your going to talk with Samon please go to the lounge, so I can focus on my work." I looked back and nodded. "Sorry Mommy." "Sorry Warden Hyakushiki." Lemur and I said as he bowed slightly. We walked out of her office and into the lounge. A few others were there like Kiji, Damian, and Mao. Mao and Kiji are here often, so I wasn't surprised by then, but Damian isn't here often. I quietly walked over to Kiji and poked his leg. He jumped and yelped kinda like Lemur did when I scared him. He looked around quickly before his eyes landed on me. "Hey peacock!", I said and he sighed. "You are going to give someone a heart attack you know that right?" I hummed, "Maybe~" I giggled again as Mao walked over, "I think you gave everyone enough of a heart attack when you disappeared for and hour." I didn't like Mao he was really.... selfish is that a good word to use? Though he is really rude, and loves to cause problems. He spreads rumors a lot. Not many people like him though problem is that he is a deputy supervisor. I honestly think that he will never be a really supervisors because he is to rude. That reminds me! A lot of people think Mommy hates Papa or a few others, but I'd say one of the people she actually hates or dislikes is Mao. Even she gets fed up with him, but enough with that. "And I think that the cat needs to go sharpen their nails because they obviously aren't sharp enough to do any damage." He growled slightly at this as I heard a few people try to muffle there laughter. "Smart mouth." He whispered to me before walking out of the room. Once he left and the door closed every laughed or chuckled a little. Kiji looked at me and smiled, "And what do we say?" "Don't tell Mommy we taught you that." ,I said in a quieter voice. He smiled and nodded. "Yes, and what else?" "Good riddance!" I smiled and giggled as Kiji rubbed my head gently.
