Marzil's POV
Lemur came up behind me and picked me up. He set me on his hip as he held me. "You are getting to big to be carried anymore.", he said chuckling. I giggled, "I'm going to get even bigger." He nodded say that he knew as he walked over and sat on the couch with me. I smiled and moved to sit in his lap. Kiji stood behind the couch and watch as Lemur and I talked and teased each other. I heard the door open and saw Papa walk in as Lemur decided to start tickling me for something I said. "Papa!", I laughed out as I tried to stop Lemur, "Help!" He looked at Lemur and I and smirked ever so slightly. He came over and pulled me from him. He held me and chuckled, "You know I'm not always going to help you when you started this problem." I smiled and let out a last few giggles as I nodded. He smirked again and started to walk towards Mommy's office. "Let's go see your mother." I nodded as he nocked on the door. Mommy said to come in and Papa opened the door. She had a straight face on, but in her eyes you could see she was smiling. Papa walked up to her desk and handed in a paper. He set me down as they talked. I went over to my backpack and looked threw it. I pulled out my hair brush and hair ties. I did my hair in a side ponytail.(Example)
After I put my hair brush back in my bag and my other hair ties I had. As I did this Papa and Mommy had finished talking. I put my book back in my backpack and followed Papa out of the room after saying bye to Mommy. I got to see Mommy a lot more then Papa, so I like to walk with him or spend time with him when I got the chance.
Hajime's POV
I walked out of the break room with Marzil. She always walked with me when I left her mother's office. I don't know why, but I never mind it. It is hard to hate someone like her. She is the sweets and most innocent thing you will meet, but if you get her upset she can have an attitude. She also was very polite, but shy at first. She skipped as we walked down the hallways of the main building of the prison. Her room was convenient when she walked with me. There was a way you could walk to get to her room, without having to turn around to get to the monaril. It was a Slightly longer walk, but I didn't mind. I was brought out of my though when Marzil spoke. "Papa, will there ever be a time when I can visit you at your work area?" I stiffen slightly at this. ".... I'm not sure. That is more of something to ask your mother." Ugh now she is going to be asking the Warden to come. There is no way she can go there at this age right? Thoughts of her coming and the inmates scaring her made me feel sick to my stomach. Not to mention if she told the Warden about it.Finally we got to her room. She managed to open the door without any help. I smiled and was happy that she could do this now. She reached for me and I knelt down to her height and hugged her as she hugged me. "Bye, Papa!" ,she said smiling. "Bye, short stack." ,I said as we let each other go and I stood down. I walked away and as I did I heard her door shut.
Marzil's POV
I shut the door after Papa and I said goodbye. I did want to follow him, but I knew I would get in trouble. I set my backpack on the back of my chair. After I went over to my bookshelves or as I like to call it, my favorite book library. It had all the books that I really liked. There is one area for new books or ones that I'm reading currently. Mommy always says I have to keep one shelf clear of books. I don't know why, but I do it anyway. I was looking for a book to read. Yes, I had a couple in my backpack, but I didn't want to read them. I looked through all my books multiple times before finaly sighing in defeat. I don't want to read any of these they all seem really boring right now. Even my school books. I sighed again as I got up going over to my backpack. I took out my books looking at them. I still didn't want to read them. I put them on my desk. I need to go to the library, but usually everyone is to busy at this time to take me. The library was probably one of my favorite places to be. Your surrounded by books that you can read for your entire life. It was an amazing place to go, well to me at least.I looked at the clock. Only 2:46 I can probably make it there and back before 4:00. Four o'clock was usually the time when I had to leave to get to dinner on time with Mommy. I put my backpack on and went over to the vent. I opened it and crawled in it was quite spacious. I shut the vent after I was in. Then I started to make my way to the library. It usually takes about thirty minutes to get to the library and thirty minutes to get back to my room. After I got to the library vent I looked around to make sure I was in the clear to not be caught. I opened the vent and climbed out. I decided to leave it open because I knew the exact book I wanted. A week ago I came here with Papa and he was helping me get a few new books. I saw a big book that to me was just calling me to read it. Papa said I wasn't allowed to read it. I didn't like that because I felt like I was supposed to read it. The title was 'Nanbaka Prison Rule Book'. I've always been told to follow the rules, but I've never actually read the rules book. I quickly found the book without much trouble. The trouble was getting it down. It was way to high for me to just normally reach. I would need a library lader. The problem with library ladders is they tend to loud when rolling from shelf to shelf. I was lucky enough I didn't need to move it from a completely different section. There was on on the next case over, so I just had to push it over. I quickly went to the ladder knowing I needed to hurry. I started to push when I heard someone coming.
One man went by my section running somewhat quietly. A few seconds after another man went running by whisper-yelling at the other man. Neither seemed to notice me so I just kept pushing the ladder. Soon it was in the right spot for me be able to reach the book. I carefully climbed up the ladder. I've never been this high on it before usually only a step or two. This scared me a little. I pushed it off as I was determined to get this book. Once I could reach the book. I grabbed for it. It was a lot bigger and heavier then I thought it was going to be. After getting it off the shelf came the process of getting it down to the ground. Thus consisted of moving down a couple steps then resting for a few seconds. Finally it was at the bottom. I quickly put it in my backpack which it barely fit in. I managed to carry back to the vent and get back into the vent with out much problems. Next was the long trip back to my room with a heavy book on my back.
When I got back to my room I saw Mommy was in it looking around for, what or in this case who, me. I knew she would probably take the book if she found out I had it. My plan around that was taking the book out of my backpack and leaving it in the vent. After I opened the vent. This quickly caught Mommy's attention. "Marzil what are you doing? I thought I told that you shouldn't be in the vents when it is getting close to dinner time." "Sorry Mommy, I was looking for someone to take me to the library tomorrow, but I couldn't find anyone." She sighed and shook her head, "Dear you can ask that while we go to eat. Now come on let's get you cleaned up."
