Those tops are pretty big, no wonder they need a special set up for some one to actually spin them. Mitsuru continued, "You will need to send your top spinning and then try to either nock your opponents top out of the arena or destroy it!" I would say that one good punch could break that thing into pieces. I wonder how Papa will handle it? "Three members are aloud to compete for each team, but only one of these participants can be a guard!", Mitsuru yelled. I zoned off as Mitsuru yelled out the buildings that are left. All I knew is he insulted all of them basically. I wonder who will make it to the last round? Kiji won't his inmates are to scared to fight and hurt themselves, if Samon and his inmates take this seriously and don't goof around they have a possibility to win, but it would be close. Kenshiro will defiantly win against Kiji since he is serious and his inmate seems to be pretty intent on winning. If I guess it would be Kenshiro vs Papa or Samon. I was snapped back to reality when I heard Papa yelling. I looked to see one of his inmates dragging him down to the arena. My eyes widened when I saw him hit the ground by a camera. I giggled as I saw how he landed on the ground, with his head in the ground. He pulled it out and I heard Samon insult him through a mic. When Mitsuru said Papa was participate he tried to say he wasn't and everyone began cheering. Even I yelled a little, "Come on you can beat him!" Though Samon was a good friend and teacher, but I loved my father even if he was adoptive. I heard mom chuckle and when I looked she was looking at me. I rubbed the back of my neck smiling awkwardly. Samon and two of his inmates joined in, but it might as well just been one because I knew the one and he was lazy.
Papa and Samon got ready to pull the tops and so did Kenshiro and Kiji. When Mitsuru yelled again the pulled the wrappings around the tops and the tops began to spin and collided. I guess those tops are mad out of something lighter and softer then oak since with that strength they would have at least slowed down. I wish I was closer. Samon went after Papa first with his inmates, but Papa's inmate got in the way with his ball n' chain. "Nico actually looks serious.", I mumbled to myself, but is didn't last long, "And he is back to his normal self." I smiled. Upa looked around and spotted Qi sitting around the edge. I looked to see Papa and Samon fighting more intently. After Papa tried to throw Samon to the side he went for the top. Upa cut him off with his ch'i. My eyes widened at the power of his ch'i, while Papa just barely dodge his attack. Nico just started to freak out to Papa, but Samon was quick to recover and went for Papa again. While they fought Nico fought Upa. Nico was begging him to teach him how to use ch'i. Samon just continued to attack Papa pretty sloppily. He can fight so much better then he is right now, so why isn't he? I asked myself many questions as I watch them continue to fight. Papa grabbed Samon by the collar of his uniform choking him. I know these games are to help put inmates in their place, but I think Papa is taking it a bit far. Samon was tossed to the ground and was coughing.
They argued more fighting till Papa punched Samon into the ground. Upa was firing another attack at Nico, Papa ran to the top and grabbed it. Papa through the top as Nico fired an attack at Upa that was stronger than his. The top landed on Samon with him screaming and Upa being defeated as well. I was sure that fight was going to be more even. I sat back relaxing slightly as my mother walked over to me. "There is going to be a small break for awhile.", she said and I nodded to her. Once it was announced that there was a break my mother went to leave and I decided to follow her. "How have you like the tournament so far?", she asked as we walked. "Not what I was expecting, but definitely interesting. I was a little nervous when the second event happened since I wasn't expecting it to be as violent as it was, but I'm guessing it is like that for a reason.", I stated to which she only nodded. "The third event was predictable and for the fourth it was also violent. I knew Papa was strong, but I was never quiet sure of how strong he was.", I said as we left the colosseum. "Well I will warn you the final event is even more violent.", mom said not looking at me. "What is it?", I asked and she only smiled not replying. I thought for a moment before a thought came to my head. "Do you mind if I go talk to Samon?", I asked my mom and she dismissed me. With Talion following me I went to the infirmary. After asking where Samon was I went to where he was being treated. I nocked on the door hearing talking on the other side. "Come in.", I heard Samon said. I opened the door and saw Inori sitting on the couch that was by the bed where Samon sat. Samon smiled as I came over and sat on the edge of the bed, "Hey Marzil shouldn't you be at the coliseum?" "There is a break and I wanted to check on you considering you got beat pretty bad.", I said looking at him. He sighed and rubbed his temples. I giggled and he glared at me, "Don't laugh at me." I smile and stuck my tongue out at him before running out of the room where Talion was waiting. We went back to the coliseum and waited for the next event to start. As we walked back I was worried about Samon, but something felt off to me. I pushed the feeling away and just decided to think about the past events and how things could have been different.
