~Time skip a few days~

Warden's POV
It had been almost a week since Marzil started school with the inmates and guards and when she started working in the kitchen. She has been doing well and so far not to many problems have arrived. Though now it is not either of those I am worried about. The New Year's Tournament is coming up and Marzil might just be able to actually see it this year. The higher ups think she needs to experience something that shows what goes on in the prison or just how powerful it is. That is kinda hard to do since we need a controlled environment. Though we think we can keep a controlled environment at the tournament. She will be up with me watching. Though I'm still very nervous about it. I sighed sitting back in my chair. I was going to talk about it to her today to see what she thinks, but by now I know what her answer will be. She will want to go. She may know what very one here dose, but that is to an extent. I don't want her veiw on us to change to that we are heartless.

I might aswell get this over with now. I called Mitsuru and told him to call Marzil down to my office. I waited about thirty minutes later she opened the vent on the ceiling to my office. "You needed me mom?", she asked as she poked her head down. Her long hair hanging down. It had grown so much since she was little. It was longer then she was tall, though she was only 4'10. It was over five feet and was healthy and strong. "Yes, I did. Can you please come down, so we can talk.", I asked and she compiled. Once she got down she walked infront of my desk. "As you know the New Year's Tournament will be happening in a few days-" "I know, I'm not supposed to go to the stadium and that includes vents. Also, no leaving the main building. If I go anywhere I need a guard with me and I can only go at specific times.", she said unamused. I chuckled and she gave me a questioning look. "I like how you can recite the rules you usually follow, but that is not what I was going to say.", I said. "Are there more rules?" "New rules, but differently purposed." She looked very confused

"You are allowed to watch the New Year's Tournament, just this once, as of right now", I stated. She stared at me and I could tell she was questioning whether or not to believe this. "You are allowed to watch, but there are going to be strict rules. You must follow them and if you do not I will have you taken back to your room and you can spend your time as normal when they would go on. Is that clear?", I asked her after stating that she will be watching the New Year's Tournament. She nodded for me to continue. "You will be sitting in the area I usually watch. It is higher then the rest of the coliseum. If you need to go to the bathroom you will be escorted by two guards. If they ask you to do something you are to follow the directions to your best ability. If something dangerous were to happen you are to leave the coliseum immediately no excuse. If you wish to leave and stop watching completely that is fine, but know you can not come back after you chose this option.", I stated. She nodded saying, "Sounds kinda like the rules already set in place." I sighed, "Marzil I don't want to be harsh, but please be serious about this. This could be very dangerous." She nodded having a more serious face. "You may go. Have a good day sweetheart.", I said dismissing her. She nodded smiling and jumped up to the vent. "Bye, mom!",she yelled as she closed the vent. I sighed and relaxed in my seat.

Marzil's POV
I jumped back into the vent and said bye to mom. Then I started back to my room. I was so excited. I've always wanted to go to one of the New Year's Tournaments and now I finally get to. Soon I was back at my room and I opened my room vent and climbed out. I closed it once I was out and squealed a little bit. I spun in a few circles and flopped onto my bed. "I finally get to go!" I hadn't been this happy in a long time. I never knew why, but I've always wanted to go to the tournament and now I finally get to! I looked up at the ceiling smiling like an idiot. I wonder what the games in the tournament will be?

Many ideas and thoughts were running though my head about the tournament. So many that I didn't even notice my door open which I don't do often. It was probably why Samon came over and looked down at me. "You okay Marzil?" I jumped and sat up. He laughed and I glared punching his arm. "Don't do that!" "I was just asking if you were okay. You don't usually not say something when someone walks in your room.", he said in defense. I sighed and shook my head. "Anyway what were you, so focused on anyway? Usually you are actually physically doing something to not notice.", he stated. I smiled brightly and sat up straight looking at him. "I got permission to do something and I'm excited!", I said. He raised an eyebrow giving me a weird look. "And what would this something be?" I smiled and giggled. "You aren't telling me are you." "Nope!", I said and soon yelped falling back on my bed as Samon began to tickle me.

Samon's POV
I tickled Marzil till she said she would tell me. I stopped and stood up straight. She stayed laying down catching her breath which only took a second. "So what is it?", I asked. She smiled brightly and giggled. "My mother is letting me watch the New Year's Tournament!", she said excitedly. I stared at her for a second. I didn't know what to say. I didn't think watching the games were the best for her. She still didn't know so much about this place. I was brought back to reality by her snapping in my face. "Huh?!" She giggled, "Isn't it exciting I get to watch?" I smiled slightly, "Yeah, but are you sure you want to go?", I asked. "Ofcourse! I've waited so long to finally get to watch it!", she said practically hitting the ceiling from excitement. You still act like such a kid... I chuckled and patted her head. "Well good for you. I have to go. See-ya later Marzil!", I said as I walked out and shut the door behind me.

I started walking back to building 5 thinking about what she said. Is her mother really letting her watch or I guess I should be asking if she should be watching at all...
