-Next day-

I woke up like normal and did my routine. Only before I left I looked around my room. Nothing looked different from how it normally was. I went over to my book shelf and took the book off that I had held yesterday when the incident happened. I opened it and flipped through the pages. Nothing looked different from what it should have been. I flipped it around looking a the cover and the back. It didn't look different either. It was a human anatomy book. I shook my head and put the book back. Then I left like normal to go the cafeteria. Things were again normal nothing seemed wrong with anyone. After I ate I returned to my room. I remember I had to help cook lunch today. I sighed not knowing what I wanted to do till then. Usually I had a plan for the entire day, but I just couldn't think of something. Well one thing did come to my mind...

I looked over at the book on the self. Then I looked at my hands for a second. Did I cause it to float? I shook my head. No, Marzil that is crazy and impossible. No, one can just make things float... but after everything I've seen and heard around this place I can't say something like that could be possible... I looked at the book again then my hands. I decided to do a test. I picked out three random items that were in my room and sat in the middle of my room on the floor with them infront of me. On my left was a pencil, in the middle was a book different then the one that had floated before, and to my right was a pillow. It may not be heavy, but it was larger then the other items I had gathered for my little test.

I first picked up the pencil. At first I held it in both hands by each end and I stared at it. After a few minutes of that not working I switched to just one hand. That still did nothing to make it do something. I sighed and looked at the pencil feeling defeated and sad. I was slightly scared by the incident, but the fact that I could have been the cause of it intrigued me. I took a deep breath and closed my eyes focusing all my energy on it. I opened one eye to peek at it and when I did I realized it wasn't sitting in my hand anymore and quickly looked up. Sure enough there it was floating peacefully above me. I smiled like a little kid and put my hands up in victory. When I did that the pencil did drop, but I was still proud of myself. The next thing I tried was making the book float. It also worked, but I noticed that when I took my main focus off of it the book fell. I decided to test my theory with my final item. I managed to get it to float and sure enough when I took my attention off of it the pillow fell down.

"That is cool...", I whispered to myself. I looked at the clock and realized that if I didn't get ready to help cook and leave soon, I would be late. I put everything on my bed and quickly got changed into my cooking clothes. It was like any chef outfit with a white top and black pants and shoes. I grabbed my hair net and put it on as I entered the kitchen. I washed my hands then was told to help peal the carrots and cucumbers. That day I was working in building ten. They were having carrot and cucumber ribbon salad as a side along with rice, shrimp, and spice green beans as choices of sides. The main dish was a vegetable and chicken stir fry. Which I personally loved. After helpywith carrots and cucumbers I was told to chop other vegetables for the stir fry. It was long till we had to start getting ready for the inmates to come in. I wasn't ever allowed to put food on trays. I usually was helping still cook food anyway. The most I did was take empty containers at the line and replace them with filled ones. I did often get comments or compliments from the inmates when they saw me. Though some not appropriate. When I heard these I rolled my eyes and ignored them.

After lunch I helped with dishes. Once everything was clean and put away I left and went to get a lunch at the main building or at least a snack. Once I ate I returned to my room. I decided I wanted to practice my floating abilities again. I was about to grab some things around my room again when I realized something. The first time I made something float I also made myself float. I decided to try this again, but only on my bed this time and not on hard floors. I sat on my bed in the very middle. I closed my eyes and relaxed my body. I put my hands on my knees thinking I might need to be touching something to make it work. I focused on trying to make myself float. When I opened one of my eyes I still was floating. I sighed and closed my eyes again.

Samon's POV
I went to go check on the kid. Since we hadn't seen her since this morning. Probably going to be hanging off the side of her bed reading again. I opened the door to her room and saw to my honest surprise that she was sitting there on her bed. Is she meditating? I've never seen her meditate before. Maybe she is trying something new again. I told myself as I stepped in. I was about to say something when she began to float. This surprised me sure Number 58 could float, but Marzil had never been taught Qigong or anything like that. She doesn't have access to books like that either. I saw her open an eye and look down at herself. She seemed excited, but soon fell back onto her bed. She put both fists in the air as she fell back. "Yes! I managed to do it.", she said. Soon after she sat up. At this time she spotted me standing there staring at her. We stood there both quiet and not knowing what to say.

Marzil's POV
We sat in silence for what felt like it would never end. I slowly looked down not being able to look at him anymore. The only thing on my mind was worrying about his reaction and if he would tell others. I... I'm scared....
