Your name is Taylor in this, and you're a professional ballerina :)
"How're you feeling?" Damiano asked, propping himself in the doorway of your shared bedroom. You were staring into the mirror, hands crossed behind you, trying to clasp the necklace Dami had gotten you for your two year anniversary.
"Shit." You muttered as you dropped the necklace. You immediately knelt down and started searching for the delicate chain within the carpeted floors.
Damiano giggled softly. "Here, let me get it." He bent down beside you and picked up the chain.
"Thank you." You whispered as you both stood. You faced each other in the mirror as he hooked the necklace behind your back.
When he was done, Damiano kissed the back of your shoulder and smiled at you through the reflection. "You look ravishing." He smiled.
"Well," You blushed, snickering softly. "I learned from the best. The neck and the collarbones are the most attractive parts of the body, hmm?" You smiled, spinning around to kiss your boyfriend's lips.
You wouldn't lie, you had taken plenty of style inspiration from Damiano since you two had started dating.
"Cheeky." He smirked, leaning down to kiss your cheek once again. "When are your parents expecting us?"
"Five." You spoke, spritzing some perfume onto your neck and wrists. "But it's not that big of a deal. I don't think Ryan will be in until closer to six."
Damiano nodded.
Your parents and brother, Ryan, had met Damiano a few times before this. They had all taken surprisingly well to him, though who could blame them, Damiano was as charming and charismatic in real life as he was onstage.
"What's Ryan studying in school again?" Damiano wondered aloud, stepping back as you collected your belongings into a crossbody bag.
"Um...civil engineering, I believe? God, I haven't seen him in ages." You responded, rising onto your tippy toes to fix Damiano's collar.
Damiano nodded once more, grabbing your fingers at his collar and gently kissing them. "Shall we be on our way?"
You took in an anxious inhale. Damiano knew you and your parents had never had the strongest of relationships.
"Let's go." You smiled and took his hand as he walked you out to the car.

The forty-five minute car ride to your parents' house was a blissful one. Damiano played you a few "top secret" demos for new Måneskin songs, you listened to all of your favorite music, and the conversation was just beautiful and airy the entire time. Many laughs were had.
As Damiano got closer and closer to approaching your parents' house, he lifted his hand off of your thigh and grabbed your hand across the center console of the car.
"Principessa? You okay?" He asked. Damiano pulled up to a stop sign and parked the car there when he made sure no other cars were around.
"Yeah, yeah." You nodded, keeping your gaze down. The butterflies in your stomach had started to feel more and more like elephants stampeding around. "Just a little nervous is all."
"I know. I know. It isn't too late to call in sick." He noted. "I'll call your parents, make it real dramatic." He joked.
That got a small rise out of you. "No, Dami, it's okay, let's just go. Maybe it won't be so bad after all."
"Alright." Damiano kissed your knuckles again and squeezed your hand as he kept driving.
Only a few stops and turns later you pulled into the driveway of your parents' house. Damiano knew you were endlessly nervous. He unbuckled his seatbelt and left the car to go open your door for you.
