It had been a long day, and if you asked Damiano, he'd tell you it had been an awful day.
The band was behind on creating their newest album, and alongside that, while he only told you, he'd been struggling with negative body image thoughts again -- those had a niche for popping up when he gets really stressed out.
You had gone to take a shower after rehearsal, and Damiano was laying on your shared bed. He was still there when you returned after your shower.
"What's that look for?" He laughed, exhaustion evident in his voice.
His hair was still slightly damp from his own shower, and he had yet to put a shirt back on, only changing into comfortable pajama pants.
"Nothing." You stated, only barely lying. You got in bed beside him and immediately began tracing his jawline.
"I think it's something." Damiano lazily smiled."It's always something with you."
You smirked gently, shifting your weight on top of him. "Just want to remind you how much I love you." You explained, beginning to kiss each individual tattoo that decorated his skin.
Your lips trailed over the dark ink letters across his chest and your finger traced the serpent that twisted around his sternum.
"That tickles." Damiano laughed.
You simply shook your head, giggling, adjusting your gaze to admire the small patchwork tattoos on his arms.
"BOYS DO CRY"
The soft lined butterfly
Your fingers detoured momentarily to trace the paragraph he wrote to himself as a child. As your fingers traced Damiano's childhood handwriting, you pulled him into a deep kiss.
Your fingers danced around the cupid's on his shoulders as your kisses lowered to Icarus' wings on his hips.
You scoffed under your breath, debating giving the MAMMAMIA tattoo two small kisses, just for the heat of it, but you didn't think he'd be in the mood for that.
Your hand played with his tattooed middle finger as you admired the art all over his body.
"They're all works of art. Just like you are."
