Hi! I'm working on some lovely requests, but they're taking a bit longer than expected! Thank you all for being patient! Here is a little drabble to entertain for now xo

"Dami, bambino, it's not that big of a deal, I promise you." You coaxed, rubbing his back.

Damiano was sat backstage in his dressing room, head in his hands. His corset had been discarded somewhere almost immediately after he left stage, leaving him shirtless. He had quickly changed into a pair of sweatpants when he got back to the room.

His in-ears and their attached wires were laying over his shoulders, still mic taped to his skin.

"Seriously, you switched two verses! It was barely even noticeable!" You kissed his cheek, trying to get him to understand that his little slip up onstage wasn't even known to you until he pointed it out.

"It's just stupid." He grumbled, lighting a cigarette. As he continued to speak, smoke pushed past his lips and into the air. "Like, it's my own song! How the fuck did I mess it up like that?!"

"Honey, you probably just got nervous, it's okay!"

"I don't get nervous!" He snapped. "Frontmen don't get nervous!"

You sighed. "What is this really about?" You huffed, not really frustrated at the fact he switched the lyrics, just at his reaction. You couldn't understand why he was being so hard on himself. "Is this about messing up the song, or if you are or aren't a good frontman?"

Damiano looked up at you. He took his cigarette from his mouth and crushed it in an ashtray.

You saw the anxiety wash over him. You could nearly hear his internal monologue.

"Dami..." You sighed, sitting back down. You started to trace your finger over his new tattoos he got on his hands. "You're a wonderful frontman, you're a star."

"Thanks." He half smiled. "It just doesn't feel like it sometimes. Like it feels like I'm constantly playing a character."

You frowned, knowing he always played his personality up onstage, but you never knew how much of a toll it took on him when he was offstage.

"I know." You kissed the top of his head. "How about you go take your makeup off, and we'll go grab some takeout and eat at home, okay? We can even watch a movie if you'd like."

"That sounds great." Damiano smiled even bigger now.

You smiled back. "Okay, I'll let you get changed." You left the dressing room to give him a moment alone.
