The movie premiere was strenuous and rather annoying with all the flashing lights and talking heads though couldn't help but notice Zatanna was there as well. We made eye contact a few times with small smiles and little head nods. I just drank champagne I wasn't supposed to have whilst listening to people's gossip, calling me a charity case, or that I didn't belong. To be honest tonight I didn't care, maybe that was the Robin talking but I didn't really mind them making me an outcast, a waste of space.

Eventually I had an open window as did Zatanna I quickly attempted to make my way over as she tried to make it the other half,

"Hey." She smiled,

"Hey."

"Didn't expect to see you here."

"I almost didn't come, but I thought there might be a chance you would be here."

"Yeah, anywhere high society is usually my dad and I follow." She giggled. Now I'm insecure, but I couldn't show it.

"Oh yes, count Bruce Wayne and his ward part of the caravan as well." I joked, I assume this is peak posh.

"It's great to see you. I'm glad you showed."

"I'm glad I did too." I smiled. She was so beautiful in her red dress with her hair curled, I mean she'd beautiful all the time anyway, but tonight she was glowing,

"We never traded number-"

"Zatanna, a word." Zatara quickly guided her away, shooting me a glare. Where did he even come from?

(Zatanna's POV)

"What is it?" I asked watching Dick as he dissapeard from my sight, in the crowds. He looked so handsome tonight in his black turtleneck with a grey suit jacket and black jeans, not that he wasn't always handsome, but tonight he just looked perfect,

"Zatanna, daughter, I don't want you associating with that boy. People talk, tabloids run their mouths, and he is no good."

"What do you mean?"

"He just brings about bad image what with his circus ties and con-man upbringing. Not to mention he could be dangerous. People like us don't associate with people like him." He expained,

"Then why is he here?"

"Because Bruce Wayne took pity on the poor orphan and let him in, but don't think that makes him anything more then the circus trash he was raised as."

"Father, how can you say that?"

"Don't get me wrong, Zatanna, I feel for the boy, he's been through a lot but he and his people are who they are and there's no changing that. Just ignore him and keep your distance." My father finished his lecture with a sigh, signifying this conversation was over and not to be rivaled or disobeyed,

"Yes sir." I frowned following him still out to the car where we drove silently back to our mansion on the outskirts, in the safety of our little neighborhood of rich people. I quickly rushed up to my room not knowing anything else to do, what was I to do? The only boy who even slightly interested me was completely off limits because of his background. Maybe my father was right though? I mean how much did I really know about Dick Grayson? He could've been lying to me or trying to con me, but what if he wasn't? What if he liked me? What if he didn't? All this made my brain hurt. I picked up my phone and dialed the only person I could maybe confide in,

"What's up, Zara, it's one in the morning." Artemis's groggy voice filled my phone,

"Meet at the mount?"

"Sure, I'm there now."

"What? Why?" I asked concerned,

"I'm kind of a run away, if that makes any sense, my dads kind of a jerk and my sister is kind of worse." She laughed nervously,
