In a world of me and you, no one else
-Elijah Chambers
"Okay, how do I look?" I ask Eli while walking out of the bathroom. He sits on the end of the bed with his phone in hand.
Eli's eyes glide up and down my body. He grabs me by my hips pulling me in between his legs. My arms rest over his shoulder.
"Beautiful. As always," he compliments. "It's just a casual dinner though." I shrug, smoothing out my white dress.
"I want your parents to like me. Plus white's the colour of pure, innocence and honesty," I mention. He looks at me weirdly, making me laugh.
He pulls me closer to him, down onto his lap. "We both know you're anything but innocent," he whispers. His finger trails up my thigh.
My arms move around his neck pulling him closer. "Mmh, then what am I?" I ask. He looks up at me with a small grin.
"My dirty little slut who likes it rough. On the floor, in the shower, back of the car. Anywhere but a bed," he whispers.
I push him slightly as I look away. Unfortunately he's right. He nudges me as he stares at me. "Is it not true? I know how your body reacts, admit it." I shake my head not wanting to admit it.
He wraps his hand around my neck, forcing me to look at me. "Say it," he demands.
"When did you become so dominant?" I ask. Not that I hate it. I love this new side of Eli.
He shrugs. "Always been. Just showing it now that I know you aren't going anywhere. Come on, we're going to be late." He stands up causing me to slide off his lap and onto my feet.
The others are enjoying their night at the beach. Eli and I already put our bags in the car. He's using Micheal's while he and the band enjoy the rest of spring break with alcohol and girls.
He takes my hand leading me all the way to the car. I sit in the passenger seat tapping my foot repeatedly. I wonder what his parents are like. If they're strict or fun. They'd have to be strict if they sent him to military school.
Maybe I should ask him what happened. But it's not my place. "What're you thinking about?" Eli asks as he drives on the highway. His parents are less than a 40 minute drive away.
I shrug. "Just stuff. You think they'll like me?" I ask. I'm never nervous when it comes to meeting people. But Eli's parents just seem so different. They aren't regular people, they're his parents.
He places his hand on my thigh. "They will. It doesn't matter what the fuck my dad thinks if he even comes but my mom will love you. I'm sure of it." I smile at his comforting words.
I reach for the radio knob and turn up the volume. "Good. Now that that's out of the way I can belt out lyrics in the worst voice possible." Eli laughs as I begin singing in a bad voice instead of actually trying.
Half an hour of horrible singing and blaring music later, we made it. It's a decent size, two story house. Eli and I get out of the car. He reaches for our bags while I walk up to the door.
I ring the doorbell and stand next to Eli. My heart is racing. Fingers slide between my own and I look up at Eli. "Just breathe. You're fine," he assures.
I smile nodding. The door opens and two people stand in the doorway. An older man and woman. "Elijah!" The woman cries and wraps her arms around him. Eli lets go of my hand to hug her back.
I keep my hands behind my back as I watch their interaction. She pulls away and the man holds out his hand to Eli. "Good evening dad," Eli shakes his hand.
