"We are almost there, Yunho, stand tight!"

Mingi kept his grip on the limping young master firm, but not enough to give more pain.

Yunho kept flinching and squinting his eyes at every tiny step he takes. The bullet that swam through between the fleshes of Yunho's body must've had a fire with it as he could feel it warming up, throbbing more, tagging along with the stinging pain it originally is meant for.

He could feel the bullet laughing as much as the voice at the back of his head does, calling him a fool, an idiotstupid, useless.

But the pain was winning and overshadowing the anger he should be sensing right now.

"Um... Do you know the story of The Blue Light?"

Yunho did not answer, he had his mouth shut.

"There was a soldier, who was first, at least, um... How do I put this in words? He, he is not bad, but I am not concluding that he is good either."

Yunho stared at him while biting his inner cheek, eyebrows meeting each other, and a crumpled forehead. The young master suddenly wonders why all of a sudden Mingi decided to tell a bedtime story while they are wandering at the ship's body with tracks of getting-dried blood accompanying them.

"The soldier was said to be dismissed as he doesn't have any service to do with the king anymore, the war is done, and he could not fight anymore with the injuries he got from the past battles." Mingi continued with trouble in his eyes.

"He was left in hunger and disappointment. Then there, he wanders by the forest finding something to eat, but he never did. He, instead, encountered a witch..." Mingi kept his words flowing, but his steps were pausing from time to time.

"He begged for the witch to let him stay for the night, give him something to sweep off hunger in his stomach." His eyes were shaking.

And there, Yunho connected the dots.

"You don't know the way."

Mingi abruptly stops with that phrase. Making Yunho also stop from his tracks and yelp in pain.

"I am sorry..."

"Let's stop here, there is too much blood loss," Yunho concludes before giving his left hand all the weight of his body for him to safely land on the wooden floor slowly, with the support of his friend, of course.

"Leave me now. That thick brow needs you more than I do. " Mingi was in shock hearing that. He didn't want to leave the young master, but Yunho was shooting facts and points for over 10 minutes straight already.

Seonghwa has a greater risk than a slowly dying cold prince. But Mingi chose to stay...

With his injured friend, Mingi slumped and faced the wall that supports the leaning body of Yunho. He places his forehead flat on it before breathing out a sigh.

"The witch asked for an exchange before she lets the soldier in... No, not only one, she asked for many and gave him the freedom to sleep at her house for a few more days."

"Go back."

"But one request was more than special than the requests before."

"Quit the bedtime story."

"The witch asked for the blue light down her empty well. And the soldier was fast to obey her command."

"Stubborn..."
