Seonghwa tried his best to wipe his tears even with the heavy shackles and muscular arms trying to hold him down.
He was still caught up with what he had just done, what he remembered, what happened to him.
The reminiscing of memories wasn't really his expectation, it was rather a straight-to-the-point-death situation.
Instead of begging to live or be dead for the sake of dignity and reputation, the topic of him having a daughter was brought up.
Yes. His daughter.
The blessing that a couple desires the most is the life of a baby their love created.
But what happened?
The soul that was meant to give glory and happiness to her parents died right away without even giving her a chance to open her eyes and recognize those who made her.
It was really sad.
Too sad.
But...
I need to inform them.
Seonghwa had his sight straight, eyes again blocked by his hair. He appeared more like crying because of the small sobs he lets out, but he was fiery and more challenged with the eyes of the dragon.
A true dragon without its dynamic.
He peers at the dim light covering the sides of the prison they are being imprisoned by. It was quiet and really halcyon. A sign that no one noticed he was gone.
I don't really know if that is a good sign or not...
Seonghwa was suddenly filled with anxiety. Thinking that what if the crew won't feel grateful once again? Or maybe scold him for making such a stupid decision?
He doesn't expect anything great anymore...
Well, at least I got to do something beneficial for them if ever they think about isolating me on a lonely island...
Seonghwa puffs out a last nervous sigh before bringing up his eyes to what he wanted to achieve. His goal, his dream.
The rusty doors of their prison started to screech their way to open its arm to welcome Seonghwa back to his jail. It was annoying and loud, but none of the crew was bothered to wake up as they were too drowned at the seas of their dreams.
Seonghwa had his shackles tied up above his head once again, but now, it was tighter and not loose to break free. Which, was something that he expects the most. EDEN not letting him use the key around his neck and just wanter by the grouds at daytime with loads of pirates lurking around.
If that EDEN didn't get dirty and emotional at the end of that challenge, I wouldn't have sacrificed my daughter's sake... But.
The glistening golds of EDEN's key that hangs around the neck of Seonghwa seem to catch his eyes for a moment. The moonlight above them greeted the key too much that the shade of it covers the tip of his nose, till the eyelashes of his orbs.
The only thing that I have to find out is where do we apply this for-
"What happened out there?"
Seonghwa snapped his head upwards, feeling shocked by the firm voice of Hongjoong. It doesn't sound like a morning voice, it was rather attentive and alert.
Much more to his surprise, everyone is looking straight into his eyes.
They were never asleep. They are rather fully awake.
