"Fine." her voice trailed off, feeling unsure even though she already breathed out words of agreement.

"Yeosang, Take care of the girl."

he commanded the boy named Yeosang like before. I should be the one ordering you, you little fool. His eyes lingered at the girl, that seemed uncomfortable by his actions— which she declared jerky, before; and threw a tsk before heading back to the humble store of toys.

The thief, on the other hand, brought his musket with him, walking like a boss, if you know what that means. He confidently faced the pirates because indeed, it is a fair fight now. Before, he is unarmed, now, he is ready to roar.

But the fight was already over.

The two bold men stand right before the pirates lying unconscious at the ground, with their own blood splattered across them.

Hongjoong's eyes were not confused and adorable like before, it looked terrifying, and Seojun's brother was still the same with his burning glare.

Their chests heave up, coincidentally, in unison. Visible beads of salty sweat trickles along their foreheads. Despite being in this kind of situation, they look beautiful as their skin glistens with the ray of the hot sun.

But that just made the thief disappointed, he wishes to get revenge at the bulky man with the irritating itchy beard by harshly pulling it from his chin— but the man was there, laying on the ground with his face flat on it. So the fun was already done.

He huffed, his eyes looking bored and uninterested. He rolls his eyes and proceeded to walk back to the toy store, slumping.

"Hey you!"

Hongjoong called out, his golden locks never bounced again with the sweat weighing it down, as he hops his way through the younger man.

"where is my lass?"

Your girl? So the girl is already bonded with this man? What a waste.

The thief tilted his head, beckoning the two men to come with him.

"I joined your crew."

the thief says, as soon as Hongjoong and Seojun's brother lay their butts flat at the rocking chair, lookin' like that old married couple. Hongjoong was caught surprised for a moment. Other than the fact that he didn't know this guy, this thief is also the root of trouble to him, so what else in the future?

"You must mean can you join..." Hongjoong corrected him, not knowing what really is the story. The thief laughs, well, sprinkling at Hongjoong. "She already said I can." he jerked his thumb at the dumbfounded girl.

"I did?" she asked, still confused. She was just having a small conversation with her best friend slash crush, but now she is in the middle of a talk with pirates, thieves, a brother, and a boy.

Hongjoong huffed out a frustrated sigh while rubbing his temple.

"I am a good gunner, if you'd ask." he lifted his shoulders while tilting his head. He could give benefit though. Hongjoong pondered.

"Can I trust you?" Hongjoong asked the boy before him to have his arms crossed in his chest, smirking. "Of course, my Captain."

Hongjoong pondered at a thought while shifting his sight at the oak wood beneath them. Seemingly puzzled.

The thief's legs are crossed, pointing his right toe at the other side as he bends his upper torso, bowing at Hongjoong. "Jung Wooyoung at your service," he raised his chin, smirking. "Captain.". What a proud man. Seojun's brother hisses silently
