"I am Captain EDEN, the captain of EDENary crew and Stardust ship."

"And you are my prisoners."

He lays his back back at his chair with his legs rested at the other thigh and blunderbuss hanging by his finger.

"I never wanted any of this ruckus, but you trespassed on my territory, and either you have something to steal or not, you'll be under my power." He speaks again, but now, with his chin up and no eyes to stare at the crew with a fiery glare.

"We would never 'trespass' your territory if we knew there is someone living in this kind of crappy cave," Hongjoong hisses.

"Sir."

But still ended his speech politely.

Captain EDEN scoffs loudly. He brings his body back in slouching and scanning Hongjoong's crew with now bored eyes.

"That is exactly the point, Namjoon's nephew."

He stands up to walk over through the captivated group and speak audibly to them, speak clearer to them. So that no misunderstanding and the point is clearly stated to them.

The cage they are staying in right now- trembled slightly at the sudden touch of EDEN as his ring and shackles shook it off lightly, but not really intentionally.

"A crappy cave wherein no one would bother to rest on. And if a mere traveler or sailor had his sight for a crappy cave is that he might be looking for some kind of treasure or lust."

Jooyoung grips on the metal bars, frowning a bit at how irrational the captain acts towards them.

"But we're telling the truth that it was only our desire to rest, and not to steal!"

He rolls his eyes at the speech of the girl. Like it was too irritating that he needs to loop his words a thousand times but the crew will still insist.

"Are you guys really a pirate?" The captain opened his mouth to ask, but it was rather sarcastic than curious. With that tone of mocking, the crew couldn't help but wait at what he'll say next and peered over his smug grin.

"How come you don't know how a person's mistake could be a benefit to another, especially if that person is a mischievous pirate?"

He raises his pinky finger right at the insides of his ear and started scratching the surface. He then blows it up and peered over at the hourglass beside the beaming torch. He was silent for a moment before speaking again.

"I actually expected more from the nephew of the legendary captain of BTS. But, scanning your posture and mind even for a bit of time, there was nothing that has greeted me."

He let his fingertips brush the round shape of the hourglass before flipping it over after its sand had already descended.

"You will never be like your uncle, Kim Hongjoong."

That phrase was nothing but a literal insult.

It is true that he was lacking a lot of features and characteristics. Not alert, the world he belongs to right now is full of chaos and danger, everywhere he goes, there is something that will harm him.

But he is just starting.

That captain, EDEN of EDENary should know.

If he was a teacher, he is sure a strict and a perfectionist to those who people call a pupil but he treats as a puppet with strings and agony of knowledge.

But Hongjoong was never his student nor a puppet, he is just a mere stranger who was caught in a big invisible bait.

And EDEN is that judgemental society who only adores people that fit right into their standards and bash the people that they consider ugly and do not fit in it.
