I stopped for a second then continued to look at the food.

"Yeah." I answered.

My hesitation was obvious, but he's really so annoying. I hate talking about him or even thinking about him. He irritates me, I don't like him.

Midnight gave a laugh, "He's a prissy boy, but when you know his secrets he turns into an obeying sweet talker." She went on. "He obviously knows that he doesn't have to keep it up, because I won't tell, but he's just sweet in that way."

That's what I want, I actually really want that. Midnight just told me exactly the type of friendship I want with him, I don't want him to feel obligated to be nice because I'm his partner teacher. I want him to be nice to me because he wants to, but absolutely none of that will happen, or has happened. He's too much of a prick to be nice, even though I'm a teacher with him.

"That sounds nice." I said plainly, they sound like they have a sweet relationship.

Wait, could she be the one he was texting the other day? 'Sweetheart'?

"I kind of guessed you and him were together, you guys are so cute." I chimed.

That was a test, I need to know for sure.

Midnight stopped and her face snarled in disgust, I've never seen her make a face like that. Even when I was a kid. She turned to me,

"Aizawa? Never in my life, definitely not my type. He's way too dominant, I would never be able to deal with that. I'm barely able to deal with him as his friend." Midnight gave a chuckle and went back to picking up her plate.

I could help but smile, that was pretty funny. Why else was I smiling though? It's not like I care if Aizawa has a girlfriend under the name 'sweetheart' in his phone. I just think it wouldn't be right if he was cheating, teasing with other girls. Shut up, that's the reason, nothing else. Nothing else.

"Wow, playboy of the century, the most charming Pro Hero, not your type?" I egged on, laughing.

Midnight made a fake groan and smiled.

We were at the end of the venue and Midnight turned to me.

"That was a nice talk, I hope we can do that again sometime. Maybe we can have lunch one of these days?" Midnight tilted her head.

I nodded, "Yes, of course." I smiled. "Thanks for the talk, that was fun."

She nodded and lifted a hand off her plate to wave as she strode away. Her bracelets softly swung around, I love her bracelets, they're so pretty.

I smiled to myself as I made my way back to the apartment. Midnight is to no surprise very kind. She's a person I think I'd like to be around a lot more, like Recovery Girl.

I put a small stride to my step and a smile never left my face. My shoes scraped the floor and I reached a turn in the hallway. For some reason there were a lot of teachers walking in and out, going in all types of directions. It's literally 7 at night? I was cramped in as I tried to squeeze through the crowd, I reached the other side as I felt along the wall. If my fucking food is cold when I get back, I swear. I squeezed out quickly and bumped into someone, head first.

"Shit, sorry." I said fast and situated my plate straight back in my hand, looking up at the person. "Never mind."

Aizawa tilted his head and sarcastically pouted gazing down at me. Alright that was hot, it's time to leave.

I groaned and shoved him aside with my shoulder, he barely budged but I squeezed past him.

I put on a smile again, I was excited to eat my food, hopefully it isn't fucking cold. A chilled hand grabbed my forearm and yanked me back.

"Hey-" I got cut off.

Aizawa had pulled me back in front of him.

"What do you want? Can you just leave me alone?" I felt like crying now, literally all I want to do is eat. I'm so unbelievably hungry.

My back was to the massive hoard and I stared up at him in annoyance. Then, some dick in the crowd accidentally elbowed me, and I was sent flying forward. Aizawa quickly reacted jerking me and quickly grabbing the plate, holding it above my head.

The hoard had gotten bigger and was pushing against my back, as the people went in different directions. I looked up at Aizawa, my heart was racing. I thought I was going to die just a second ago, getting caught in that hoard, and almost falling on my face. Why do all these unfortunate things happen to me, I just want to eat. The hoard got bigger, pushing me closer to Aizawa. I gasped a little as he grabbed onto me, making me look up at him.

I watched as he lowered my plate an inch, "Eat with me."
