I was exhausted, even though I slept basically this whole weekend. Well, it's what happened at the training fields fault, not mine. I gave a happy sigh as I jumped on my bed. This time it was actually MY bed that I was sleeping in. It felt so comfortable, but it felt like Aizawa's bed almost. Is everything always about him? Just shut up.
I put a smile on my face and got comfortable, the bed had a nice chill to it and it felt amazing. I put my hand under the pillow and drifted off.
I woke up in a great mood thankfully, and I happily forgot about what happened in the training field. Well, never mind not anymore.
I groaned and pulled my blanket off standing up. Checking the time it was a little late, around 7 at night. I slept for a bit I guess. I don't know what I'll be able to do at 7 but maybe the cafe is open. I could probably get some late dinner.
I was still in a type of sleeping attire but I'm just going to get dinner and come back. If I run into Aizawa I'll just ignore him I'm so over it.
It's strange though, he shows up a lot. Like out of no where, he's just there. I'm not saying he's stalking me I'm just saying I need to be wary of where he goes during the day. I also need to, not being creepy, find out his schedule, so I can avoid him. Take alternate routes or something, and not get lost like the other two times, dumbass. I know a lot of women would love to be in my shoes, teased even the littlest bit by Eraserhead. I don't want that, well not entirely. Im just here for the job, I want to be a teacher, and a Pro Hero. I don't care if Aizawa is a Pro Hero, I could care less even if he is higher up than me. That doesn't change that he's a stuck up, arrogant prick that only cares about himself, I'm over it. I need to figure things out before anything else happens.
I slipped on some plain, easy shoes and walked out of my apartment, locking it behind me. I do believe I know where the Cafe is, probably. I made way on a hallway I recognized and stuck to it until I saw the Cafe sign. The lights were dim and there wasn't very many teachers. It was perfect, and it smelled amazing. I strode over, excited. The food here looked like a type of costly gourmet sustenance you would find at a famous banquet. It looked delicious, for 7 at night there was quite a bit of food. I grabbed a big plate and scooted to the side, picking up big spoons and scooping food onto it. My side bumped into another person, not hard but it surprised me.
"Sorry, sorry, that was my fault." I quickly said and set my plate down turning to the person, giving a small bow.
"That alright, sweetheart." A female voice said, surprisingly not agitated.
I quickly looked up, I had recognized that voice. Midnight stood tall and smiled down at me. My face turned red from embarrassment and I looked away, staring at my plate.
"I wasn't paying attention." I said.
"I wasn't either." Midnight gave a small laugh, and it made me ease up.
"Anyways, getting dinner?" She asked, I could already see the image of her smiling in my head.
Her smile was very contagious, really. She's been one of the people I looked up to as a kid, this is a big opportunity for me.
"Yeah, you too?" I turned to look at her and smiled back.
"Mhm, I was talking to the teachers, so I was a bit late on dinner." She went back to scooping food on her plate and I watched.
"I took a nap, I was training earlier." I said, doing the same as her and picking up my plate again.
"How'd you like it? The training I mean." She scooted to the side and I followed.
Memories flashed back, no, don't ruin this for me.
"It was a big field, there were a lot of things to choose for training." I went on. "It was very nice, I enjoyed the equipment."
She nodded and scooted over again. I followed.
"It sounds like you like everything so far, yes?" She asked.
We rounded a corner and started on the other side of the food venue. Besides Aizawa, yeah, actually everything has been amazing. I sound like a robot almost though, talking to Midnight.
I nodded, "It's been beautiful, besides the leg incident, I've had a great few days." I smiled. "I think I'll really like being a UA teacher."
Midnight gave a laugh. "Yeah, I see you've warmed up to a few people, that's good."
Talking to Midnight was so smooth and fluent it felt like talking to a best friend.
"There's really great people here, it's hard not to warm up to them." I gave a chuckle back.
"Recovery Girl seems to have taken a liking to you. She can be quite sassy to a lot of teachers." Midnight grinned.
I nodded, "She's been nice from the start, she was probably one of the nicest I've met so far." I smiled at the thought of Recovery Girl.
"I see you've also gotten closer to Aizawa."
