Madison's POV.

I groaned at the loud noises coming from downstairs, pressing my eyes together as I felt the bright light hitting my face.

"Morning sleepy head." I heard Harry say from behind me.

I sighed as I opened my eyes, turning around so I could look at him. He was leaning on the wall next to the door with his pyjamas still, smiling at me.

"How long have I been asleep?" I said, sitting on the bed as I looked around. "I feel like it has been more than just a few hours."

"You have been sleeping for almost a day, it's six in the afternoon already."

As soon as he said that my mind started thinking about Niall, as he was probably home already. I tried to ask Harry, but a part of me didn't really want to know, so I just stayed quiet, taking my eyes from Harry's and looking to the floor.

"Hey, you okay?" He asked.

"Yeah, don't worry, I'm just sleepy." I said, smiling again at him.

"The boys wanted to order something for dinner, are you craving something special?" He asked, and I shook my head. "Well, Mc Donald's it is then, I know you love it." I was about to complain, but he shushed me. "Nope, I'm not listening to your complaints, you need to eat so shut it. You want the same as always?"

"Yeah, whatever," I said looking at him again. "It will take some time to get here, right?" I asked, and he nodded. "Cool, I'm going to have a shower then, I'll see you downstairs."

I placed my foot to the ground and got up, leaning into the wall on my right to get balance as I felt the pain in my body like a big wave hitting into a shore, taking deep breaths to try and control everything. God, I hated this.

"Louis went earlier to get you some bruise cream for the pain, he left the bag in your room." Harry said while he stared at me.

"Thanks" I said once I felt a little better, smiling at him and starting to walk to my room at a slow pace.

As soon as I started to walk I got lost in my thoughts again, letting my feet move like someone was pulling me in the direction I needed to go, but of course, that did not end well.

As I was almost in my room my body crashed into another, making me snap out of my thoughts and upping my eyes to see which one of the boys it was, and as soon as I saw those blue eyes, I froze. His hands grabbed my hips as soon as we crashed, making me feel a mix of different feelings: I was glad he was okay, but I was terrified of being this close to him.

I looked at him into the eyes for the first time since the fight we had, but his eyes were not looking at mine, he was looking at my legs, probably analyzing the bruises that he made. He looked like he wasn't breathing at all.

"Guys, everything okay?" Liam said from behind us, making me jump a little as I didn't know he was there.

The moment Liam spoke Niall snapped back from whatever state he was in, taking his hands from my hips and stepping away from me, locking himself in his room in a blink of an eye.

"Everything is fine Liam, we just bumped into each other," I said looking at him, who was staring at me with a confused look on his face. "I'm just gonna take, um, a shower, I'll be downstairs in a bit."

"Okay, no rush Maddie, don't worry."

I nodded at his words and kept walking to my room, closing the door behind me and going straight into the bathroom, staring at myself in the mirror for a few minutes as I tried to calm myself down, and once the warm water touched my body I felt some of that stress leaving me, a feeling I really needed to feel.
