Madison's POV.
Twenty minutes went by and the waffles were almost done, the whole kitchen smelling great because of it, and of course, as I knew the moment the first waffle was done and the smell started spreading, the boys didn't take more than five minutes to appear in the room.
"Good morning in the morning!" Harry said as he walked into the kitchen, making me turn around. "Looking good Maddie."
"Me or the food?" I asked, leaning into the counter and smiling at him.
"Both, actually," He said, smiling back at me. "You look happy."
"I am, I think," I chuckled, hearing the "beep" from the waffle machine from behind me.
I turned around, took the last waffle out of the machine, and placed it in the tray with the other waffles, picking up the tray and placing it in front of Harry, who was looking at it like his eyes were about to pop.
"WAFFLES?" He gasped. "Oh my God I thought you made pancakes, not that I don't like pancakes, but I love waffles!"
"Chill out lad," Louis said as he entered the room. "The waffles are for all of us, not just you."
"Yeah yeah, whatever, let me be excited!" He replied, picking up the tray. "The weather is great today, do you guys want to eat breakfast outside?"
"Yeah, that's a great idea!" I said. "I'll get the toppings."
"I'll get the plates and all of that," Liam said from the door, making the three of us almost have a heart attack as we didn't know he was there.
"Fuck Liam, don't do that to people, at least not to us!" Harry gasped, placing his hand on his chest in a dramatic way.
"Sorry," He said, trying not to laugh. "Zayn is already outside getting the table ready, we heard you when we were coming here."
"Great, so I would grab the juice and more drinks." Louis said, walking to the fridge.
"What did I miss?" Niall said, joining us as he opened the door, and as soon as he did that I felt the looks of the other three on me, like they were expecting something to happen, probably something bad.
"We are gonna have breakfast outside, Zayn is setting the table up already," I said, smiling at him as he walked towards me.
"Cool, what can I do then?" He asked.
"You can help me take all the toppings outside if you want," I told him, and he nodded with a smile on his face.
I took a glance at the other three, who had been in total silence the whole time, and tried not to burst out laughing as soon as I saw them: they all looked like they had seen a ghost, like they didn't know if they were actually seeing what was happening or if they were dreaming.
Niall grabbed almost all the toppings and left the room without saying another word, and as soon as he left, the silence was no longer in the room, at all.
"What just happened? Am I still asleep?" Harry said, with the tray of waffles in his arms still.
"No Harry, you are awake, but I don't know what happened either," Liam said, furrowing his brows.
"We talked yesterday, you were all sleeping already," I told them as I walked to the fridge, taking out the coffee and milk in case they wanted coffee too. "And yeah, that's it, we are good now."
"Yeah, you both look really good and happy today, too good and too happy actually," Louis said, and I laughed.
"C'mon we can talk about it later, take the things to the table, the waffles are gonna get cold!" I told them.
