Noah's POV (as usual please forgive me for any spelling grammar and word choice errors I really do try when editing and tysm for reading❤️)

"Hey yeah. He fell asleep. I'll bring him home soon promise. Bye"

"Hey baby" Pax said sitting down on his bed next to me and running a hand through my hair while the other is cradling the side of my face

I smile and snuggle my face into his hand

"Nyx says your dad wants you home" I pout

"Come on let's get changed I have your shirt pants and socks on top of my dresser"

"Do I have to go"

"Yes baby"

"Is she still there"

"No. Nyx said she's gone and has been for a while. Come on your dad wants you home" I nod , stretch and change

"I love those they're so comfy"

"You can keep them. I was starting to grow out of those pajama pants anyway." I frown when he kisses my cheek

"But they're yours" he shakes his head

"It's fine. Now come on" he says and I nod grabbing my phone and wallet.

We left the house after I thanked his parents and started the drive home which isn't far from his own

"So I'm assuming once we get back to school on Monday you'll go back to pretending we're friends" I ask as we pulled up in front of my house

"No. Well not unless you want to" I frown

"I don't but I want to tell my family first. I don't want them to be the last to know." He nods in understanding

"Good night Noah." He says kissing me softly on my lips

"Night Pax" I say and get out of his car and walk into the house.

I see him slowly pull away as I walk into the house

"Noah" I look up the stairs and see my dad with a worried look

"Hey dad" I say awkwardly

"Come on let's go talk in the living room" I just follow silently behind dad and sit on the couch while he sits on the chair

"Noah I never wanted you to think terribly about your mother and as messed up as it was I didn't want to make what was left of your relationship with her worse."

I nod

"Dad" I ask

"What is it" he asks softly

"Please don't keep things from me anymore" it come out more horsely than I had intended but I didn't want secrets between us anymore

"I won't as long as you don't keep things from me. I just wanted to ask something though" I nod

"Onyx said you were with Paxton at his house. Is is there something going on between you two" I turn cherry red and my face becomes a scorching temperature

My dad chuckles

"Uh yeah kind of. It happened a few hours ago after we got to his place"

It was dads turn to become red

"So you two uh" he couldn't even finish but it then dawned on me

"No. Oh my god we didn't do uh that. He asked me to be his boyfriend." I say embarrassed to be talking about this with my dad

He nodded

"Do you feel any better" I nod

"Where are Rebecca and Sapphire" I asked dad

"Getting Pizza" I nod for what feels like the millionth time tonight and go up and hug dad

"What's this for bud" he asked and I just hug him a bit tighter

"For being patient and here for me. I really do love you dad"

"And I love you too Noah"

"Now come on it's almost eight thirty we need to set the table so when Rebecca and your sister get back we can eat" I nod and get the plates while dad gets the napkins

"Hi we're back" Rebecca said as we just about finished putting everything in its place. Rebecca walked in with Sapphire she saw me and her eyes widened

"You're back" she said and launched herself into my arms

"I'm back. I was only gone for a few extra hours." I chuckled

"Don't ever do that again to me Mr" she says with a pout and I smile

"I promise I'll tell you next time now let's go get Ruby and Onyx for dinner" I smile and she nods

We then bring Nyx and Ruby down and all start talking during dinner. This is something I wouldn't trade for the world.

"Alright kids we've had a stressful day how about we all go to bed" Rebecca suggests and we all yawn while heading up the stairs.

I changed for bed into the pair of comfy flannel looking pajama bottoms I got from pax and put on a pajama shirt

I grab my phone and see a text from pax. I smile

Pax
"Night baby sleep well❤️"

Noah
"Night Pax❤️talk in the morning"

It took a minute before he responded

Pax
"Course Noah I'll always be here for u now get some rest beautiful I'll talk to u in the morning❤️"

I smile and respond

Noah

"Ok and good night for real this time❤️"

With that I put my phone on the charger and went to bed happy that I have Pax and my family by my side supporting me and me supporting them.
