Noah's POV

"Wake up" I hear someone yell and the blanket is ripped from my grip pulling me with it onto the floor and resulting me hitting my head

"Oops" I hear from above

"Ruby get out of my room" I seethe

"Sorry" she squeaked and ran out of my room.

I got up closed my door and took a quick shower before getting dressed

I changed into a black tshirt and black ripped jeans with my sneakers

"Morning" I say walking into the kitchen

"Ready for school" my dad asks and I nod grabbing my backpack and heading to the car

Onyx drove us to school and I got out and instantly spotted Pax a few cars down getting out of his truck

"Hey" He says kissing my cheek and Onyx glares at pax while Ruby nudged his side

"Hi" I say with a blush now spreading across my face

"Come on let's go in before we're late" he says and I grab his hand intertwining our fingers

Pax walked with me to my locker and dropped me off at my first class while onyx just grumbled past us.

After that I had class with Ruby

"You better not be fucking around with my brother Paxton" Onyx said threatening Pax

"I'm not I swear" he tells him

"You better not be. He's been through to fucking much recently" this gets me mad and I know it's stupid

I walk up to Onyx and Pax and push Onyx away from Pax

"I'm not that fucking fragile and I'm also not some little kid you have to protect I can take care of myself" I say storming off after

"Noah that's not what I meant" I heard Onyx yell after me as I went to my locker

He stood there silently and Pax behind him

"I know but I don't want to be treated like a child. No one asks for my opinion and everyone is walking on eggshells around me and I hate it. I don't want everyone treating me like I'm going to break." I sigh

I never wanted people to walk on eggshells around me but they are

"Does Pax make you happy" he asks and I nod

"He really does"

"Then I won't interfere" Onyx says and I smile gratefully

"Come on let's go get lunch" Pax same holding my hand as the three of us make our way toward the lunch room

I sat down next to pax and Ruby and started to eat my food

"You ok" Lexie and Sky asked me as they sat down with their food and I groaned and put my head down on the table

"I just want the day to end"

"Don't we all Noah don't we all" Sky sighed

Eventually the period ended and me and pax headed towards our study hall class hand in hand

"Your family is exhausting ya know" I ask him and he frowns nodding

"We try to avoid them as much as possible trust me" he tells me and I nod

"Mom thought you were so amazing last night" I laughed remembering last night
