Chapter two: Special

Taeyong nervously sat down across from Johnny.

"Do you wanna order anything? Have you eaten?" Johnny asked. Taeyong just shook his head.

"What, why?!" Johnny questioned.

"I woke up late, calm down. I'll order something." Taeyong said, giggling at how concerned Johnny was.

"What do you want? I'll pay."

Taeyong blinked a few times. "Oh. . . Um, I'll just have a small green tea latte and just 2 red velvet cookies with white chocolate chips." He said. Johnny got up to go order.

It didn't take long, just about 5 minutes and Johnny was back. He put the small plate of red velvet cookies in front of Taeyong and his green tea latte.

Johnny sat down with his own order.

Taeyong took a small sip from his latte, looking down to avoid eye contact.

"You're cute." Johnny randomly said. "Oh um uh. . . " Taeyong ignored the compliment and pretended not to hear.

Johnny leaned forward, "Tell me about yourself," he said. Taeyong chuckled, "You know my name, my age, what else?" He asked.

"Anything, anything about you."

Taeyong glanced at his cookies. "Um. . ." Taeyong took another sip from his latte. "There's nothing interesting about me, what about you?" Taeyong turned the focus onto Johnny.

"Really now? Well, I had a cat whose name was Eve, she was a fluffy white ball." Johnny said, playing with his rolex.

"What breed?" Taeyong asked, looking at Johnny's wrist.

"She's a-"

"Nice watch, is that what you wanted me to acknowledge?" Taeyong suddenly cut off Johnny. "She was, she's...? You don't have a cat."

"You sure are a smart one. I guess not all pretty people are stupid." Johnny murmured the last part.

"Now, can you tell me why you carry a gun around?"

Taeyong leaned over, "Now, shall we stop shifting the attention to me?" He "politely" asked. "Tell me about yourself, I have no clue about who you are." He said.

Johnny rolled his eyes, muttering something.

"Let's take a walk." Johnny got up and reached his hand out. Taeyong got up but didn't take Johnny's hand, confusing Johnny a little.

The two walked out of the cafe.

🕊

Taeyong and Johnny walked through the park, awkwardly. "It's starting to get cold, isn't it? How could people still be out here?" Johnny questioned. Taeyong shrugged and hummed, "It's early September, it's not cold actually." He answered. Johnny hummed.

"Honestly, I'm not familiar with this place." Taeyong spoke, grabbing Johnny's attention. "You're not?" He questioned. Taeyong nodded, "I live quite far away." He confessed.

Johnny hummed and continued on.

"Almost 2 h-"  Taeyong loudly gasped and stopped in his tracks. Johnny looked at him, confused as to why. "Aww, a kitten!" Taeyong exclaimed and started getting excited. He quickly calmed down to not scare the kitten away.

Slowly, he went closer to the cat. Johnny sighed and rolled his eyes as he watched. "Hi~ I'm not going to hurt you," Taeyong cooed. The kitten quickly moved back.
