★ Chapter Fifty

Chapter 50

Taeyong sat on the balcony eating a breakfast sandwich with a yogurt parfait on the side. With each bite, he feels a sense of dread poking at him. He's trying not to think about the growing fetus or how Johnny would react but the scenario keeps playing in his mind.

He takes a sip of water, trying to cool his nerves.

Johnny comes out of the bathroom with a towel wrapped around his waist. He steps out onto the balcony and kisses Taeyong's cheek. "Good morning, love." He coos before stealing a bite out of Taeyong's sandwich.

Taeyong whines in protest, Johnny just laughing at him as he goes back inside.

Taeyong takes his tray inside, placing it on the coffee table. "What's the plan for today?" He asks.

"Not much. Just a meeting with an associate and he'll introduce me to a potential new business partner. The goal is to develop a new idea for business but we'll see what comes out of today's meeting." Johnny says as he rubs a bit of lotion on his body before throwing on some comfortable clothes.

He sits down at the vanity, blow drying his hair, carefully styling it with a comb. Meanwhile, Taeyong continues to eat while watching his boyfriend.

Once Johnny is done, he puts on a suit, a red shirt with a black shiny coat.

"What about tomorrow?" Taeyong asks.

"Tomorrow? I'm going out for dinner with Chanyeol so
I'm free the rest of the day." Johnny answers. Taeyong smiles as he gets up, going over to hug him. "Can we have a day to ourselves soon? I miss you. I barely get to see you these days." He pouts, pleading.

Johnny kisses that pout. "I know and I'm sorry. These last few days before my trip to Switzerland are free. We can spend those days together, okay, my love?" He reassures him, sweetly stroking his hair.

Johnny takes his gun, hiding it in his coat as Taeyong goes to sit back down to finish his breakfast.

Taeyong watches him, his happiness slowly fading. He can hear the sound of his heart panging against his chest. He hopes Johnny doesn't hear it. He's terrified to lose the happiness he's built with Johnny. He doesn't know what to do other than keep silent.

"I'll see you in the evening." Johnny tells him, planting a kiss on his cheek and lips.

"Stay safe." Taeyong coos. His smile fades once Johnny is gone and takes a deep breath.

Doyoung rolls his eyes as Karina screams and giggles like a little child. "You're so nosy." He mutters.

Karina calms herself down so she can talk properly. "Okay, okay. I didn't mean to barge in, it's just that I was going to ask you where you were." She says.

"So? Are you ever gonna tell him how you feel?"

Doyoung looks at her like she's crazy. "What- no- i- no!" He stutters. He runs his hands through his hair and sighs. "I can't. . .he doesn't seem to be over Yuta yet. He needs time and I'm willing to wait for him." He declares.
